ESPN SHOULD HAVE FIRED HER

Jemele Hill, co-host of ESPN’s Sports Center, gets a 2-week suspension for calling on fans to boycott the NFL Cowboys and Dolphins because their players have been ordered to stand at attention for the National Anthem

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross have finally done the right thing. They have ordered their players to stand at attention for the National Anthem or be benched. This has pissed off Jemele Hill, co-host of ESPN’s Sports Center.

Hill called on fans to boycott the Cowboys and Dolphins. She also urged a boycott of any businesses that advertise with the two teams. Hill, who is black, has been an outspoken supporter of Colin Kaepernick and the other black NFL players who refuse to stand for the National Anthem.

Last month after President Trump called those players sons-of-bitches. Hill then called the president a white supremacist on Twitter. ESPN did not discipline her because she apologized afterwards.

Now, in addition to her beef with Jones and Ross, Hill has something else to be pissed off about. Mike Ditka, former Chicago Bears coach, came out Monday to tell the protesting players to leave and go to another country because blacks in this country have not been oppressed in the last 100 years. Ditka also said that any player who protests during the National Anthem should be benched. Way to go Mike!

And finally Roger Goodell woke up to see that he’s been on the side of anti-patriotism. He’s called a meeting of NFL team owners to see if the league should require its players to stand for the National anthem. Asshole Goodell is the person most responsible for all this shit because instead of running Kaepernick’s sorry ass out of the NFL, he praised his protest against police brutality.

Some would have us believe that Trump is responsible for Goodell’s sudden reversal, but nothing could be further from the truth. By calling the protesting players sons-of-bitches, which they are, the president actually fanned the flames of protest, thereby unifying the black players and even getting some white players to take a knee.

Jemele Hill is liable to have an apoplectic fit if the NFL finally rules that its players must stand for the anthem.

This time, for urging the boycott, ESPN suspended Hill for two weeks. Shit, they should have fired the sorry ass bitch!
