by Bob Walsh

Over the last six years a total of 641 contractor employees have been busted for smuggling contraband into Ohio's 31 state prisons. During that same period of time 64 civil service employees were also busted for this activity. Drugs and cell phones are the two favorite items.

The contract employees came from food suppliers (461) and medical service employees (180) during this time.
