MORE WONDERFULNESS FROM THE FORMERLY GREAT STATE OF CALIFORNIA

The God-Emperor of California,
Gavin (I Hate Guns And Gun Owners) Newsom, has acting thus on the
following bills that made it to his desk.
Effective
January 2025 victims will be able to sue social media platforms for
damages if they fail to act to shut down input on their platforms which
facilitate, aid or abet" commercial sexual exploitation of minors.
Starting
in 2026 large corporations in CA will be required to publicly disclose
their carbon emissions and the financial risks those emissions pose thru
climate change. (In other words they must endorse the idea that carbon
emissions in fact cause climate change and throw in a mea culpa while
they are at it.) This estimate must include their supply chains.
Starting
in 2035 all new school buses in CA must be zero emissions, with waivers
available due to route constraints. (In other words if the bus routes
are not on mostly flat land the electric buses won't work.)
