Oregon's new high school diplomas
In a truly stunning example of the racism of low expectations the state
school board, by unanimous vote, decided that for the next five years
(at least) high school students need exhibit ZERO competence in math and
English to graduate from high school, because these requirements are
discriminatory against people of color. An Oregon high school diploma
will effectively be a participation trophy.
