Vernard Toney Jr., 13, died from a combination of stupidity, bad parenting and poor choices.
He
was a carjacker. In D.C. Three days ago he tried to jack an off-duty,
armed federal officer. Young Vernard was simulating a gun in his
pocket. His intended victim didn't want to give up his car and-or
wasn't impressed and he had as real gun. Vernard is now deader than dog
shit.
Vernard Jr. had been arrested previously for armed carjacking. He was awaiting prosecution on those charges.
His homies assert that he was a talented kid with tons of charm and personality. Just no fucking brains I guess.
