William Monroe "Tariq) Palmer II is a commissioner on one
of San Francisco's criminal justice oversight groups. He spent three
decades as a guest of the people for being a violent asshole. He tried
an armed robbery on an off-duty cop and got shot for his trouble. Since
there was a kidnapping invovled he was sentenced to life. He was still
on parole for his recent arrest this past Thursday. He racked up
several violations of parole over the few couple of years. He was
paroled by court action and not by the parole board.
He
is currently being held without bail in S. F. on a warrant alleging
that he offered a young woman a lift to BART one recent evening and
instead took her to his home where he committed various bad acts. He is
charged with Assault w/GBI, assault with intent to commit a felony,
sexual battery by restraint, sodomy by force and false imprisonment.
