On Saturday various media outlets announced that the
visas of 12 people associated with the University of California at Davis
had been revoked. It wasn't clear if these were students, staff or a
combination thereof. This occurred a couple of days after a crowd of
about 30 people attacked the set-up area for a conservative speaker who
was being sponsored by a legitimate student organization with the
knowledge of the school administration. At least one of those people
helping with the set-up was physically assaulted and the tent being used
to house the set-up material was damaged. All of the "protestors" were
wearing all black and were masked. The university police took no
action at the time but have since taken a report.
I strongly suspect this did not endear UC Davis to the Trump administration, hence the visa action.

All were students, five were post-grads. The University is squawking loudly and promising everybody that they have thus far not "allowed" the evil rotten bastards from ICE onto their campus to arrest their poor, innocent students.
