L A TIMES SUING L A MAYOR

The L A Times has been trying to get ahold of the email traffic going to and from the communist mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, during the recent fire disaster.  Mayor Bass has, so far, told the times to pound sand and has tried as hard as possible to delete the emails from the system.  She has not been 100% successful and the Times has gotten some of these emails. 

Perhaps nobody has told Ms. Bass that there are legal problems with destroying public records.  Or perhaps she doesn't care that it is illegal.  Or perhaps she believes that destroying the record is so important that it is worth risking the heat.
