Democratic
candidates for governor hold up green flags during a candidates' event
hosted by the California Federation of Labor Unions, AFL-CIO A poll released yesterday show the two Republicans in the
two top spots in the formerly great state of California for the primary
election, though their lead is small. There are still eight
Democrat-Socialists running for Governor. They are diluting the vote
but only one of their group has dropped out. They are still apparently
firmly convinced that if one of them can make it to the ballot they will
certainly win (not a completely unrealistic view) and each of them is
convinced that only he/she can save the state from Donald Trump and the
MAGA Nazis.
It is now
conceded that the voter ID ballot initiative will be on the ballot in
November and it seems likely that that will draw out a lot of people.
Right now that question is polling overall more than 70% in favor. The
Democrat plans to oppose it are still being worked out. They will
likely consist of a major gaslight program and very possibly a
watered-down competing proposition put on the ballot by the Democrat
party structure. I believe this is truly an idea whose time has come.
