A deal between the CA state park system and an open space
conservancy organization is increasing the size of the Pigeon Point
park from 75 acres to 207 acres. The tallest lighthouse on the west
coast is there and I have spent a couple of very pleasant days there
taking photos.
Sometimes the state does things right. Too bad it doesn't happen more often.
