Linda P. B. Katehi was the Chancellor of U. C. Davis until earlier today when she was forced to resign. She has been under investigation for being an idiot since April when she was put on paid leave.
She spent a ton of money (taxpayers money) to pay an internet reputation repair firm to try to bury stories and photos about the U. C. Davis P D hosing down protested with pepper spray at her direction. She later got her butt in a crack when it was revealed that she had a couple of side jobs, one with a text book publisher and one with a private for-profit university. The students spazed over those and started an active campaign against her.
The investigation revealed that Chancellor Katehi had been less than candid in her interviews with investigators over her violation(s) of policy and she was shown the door. Besides her well-paying gig and palatial home that goes with the job she ran up a significant bill on travel expenses, some of which seem to be at best only marginally related to her actual job.
In any event that is one less arrogant incompetent asshole on the public payroll.

MAN GRABS NYPD COP’S GUN, KILLS STORE CLERK
By Nicole Brown

August 9, 2016
NEW YORK -- A man grabbed an NYPD officer's gun and shot and killed a store clerk in the Bronx early Tuesday morning, moments before he was shot and wounded by another officer, police said.
The man, identified as Efrain Guzman, 30, was in a physical argument with workers inside A&M Deli, a bodega on East 198th Street and Valentine Avenue in Bedford Park, shortly after 1 a.m., police said. One of the workers was a 49-year-old employee of a deli across the street, who had followed Guzman into the other bodega after having a prior dispute with him, they said.
Officers arrived at the scene and when they were escorting Guzman out, he was able to grab a cop's gun out of the holster and fire it multiple times, police said. Police believe the store clerk, who has not been identified yet, was hit by one of the bullets. Cops said he was pronounced dead at St. Barnabas Hospital.
The officer whose gun was not taken shot at Guzman, hitting him twice in the torso, police said. Guzman was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
No officer was hurt, police said.

MARILYN MOSBY PRAISES BALTIMORE OFFICERS WHO TESTIFIED AGAINST FELLOW COP
By Colin Campbell
The Baltimore Sun
August 8, 2016
BALTIMORE -- Almost two weeks after claiming the Baltimore Police Department was too biased to investigate its own officers, city State's Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby stood beside Police Commissioner Kevin Davis Monday and praised the department and two officers who spoke up about a fellow officer's misconduct.
Officers Keven Leary and Isiah Smith testified against Officer Wesley Cagle, who was convicted by a jury last week of first-degree assault and a handgun charge in a December 2014 police shooting.
Cagle, 46, shot Michael Johansen in the groin as he lay in the doorway of an East Baltimore corner store after two other officers had already shot him, prosecutors said. Cagle, a 15-year veteran of the police force, was acquitted of more serious charges of attempted first- and second-degree murder, but he faces at least five years in prison.
"Today I stand alongside of Commissioner Kevin Davis to give special thanks to two Baltimore police officers, Officer Keven Leary and Officer Isaiah Smith, who acted and did the right thing by testifying against their fellow officer who did the wrong thing," Mosby said at a news conference at police headquarters.
"The vast majority of police officers in this city are good officers, and I'm gratified that in this case the good officers testified against the bad officer," she said.
The Cagle trial began the same week that Mosby dropped charges in the remaining three officers' trials in the arrest and death of Freddie Gray. In a news conference near the Gilmor Homes where Gray, 25, was arrested last year, she blasted the Police Department, saying it and the criminal justice system needed radical reform.
"We've all borne witness to an inherent bias that is a direct result of when police investigate themselves," she said at the time.
On Monday, Mosby said she was heartened by the two officers standing up for justice -- and she credited Davis for helping create better police-prosecutor relations.
"We believe under this police commissioner, this will become the rule rather than the exception, and this case highlights our commitment together to work with one another," she said. "Commissioner Davis and his staff are working extraordinarily hard to create the kind of police department that Baltimore residents deserve, and I thank him and all of the men and women that uphold that sacred oath."
Davis also praised the officers and said he was "not surprised one bit" that the Police Department and prosecutors were able to work together to convict Cagle.
"Reporting misconduct, now absolutely required by our new use-of-force policy, is something that the community has a right to expect from all police officers in Baltimore," he said. "My team and the State's Attorney's team are here today to support the vast majority of police officers who routinely do the right thing day after day, and call after call."
"There's nothing more a good cop hates," he said, "than a bad cop."

LIBERALISM AND THE LESSER GODS OF GOVERNMENT
By Greg ‘The Gadfly’ Doyle
As a conservative, I subscribe to the principle of limited government upon which our founding fathers created our Constitution and system of governance. The notion of restrictions on government power was paramount to the American Revolution, which broke away from a tyrannical ruler in King George of England.
If the government truly belongs to the people, then those who hold elected office, as well as those employed to handle the functions of government, must remember that not one penny collected in taxes belongs to them. It is the people's money, a trust that cannot be squandered on every whim or capriciously spent in pursuit of personal profit, prestige, or power.
The Declaration of Independence acknowledged that the freedoms our founders aspired to gain were God-given, not man-made; a divine gift from an acknowledged higher power of the highest possibility; the source responsible for our creation and order in the universe.
Unfortunately, as history consistently proves, the nature of man-made government is the exertion of the power of a ruling class over those who are subjugated to that ruling authority. And it was the foresight of our founding fathers that placed checks and balances within our system of government to minimize a power-grab by increase of government.
Capitalism has dangers. The wealthy can buy influence in government to their benefit. People can take risks with their capital and fail. But people are rewarded for hard work.
Socialism is a greater danger in that it removes the incentive to work hard. A government that redistributes the hard earned wages of a citizen to a sluggard commits both theft of property and stifles individual freedom.
Communism is the worst possible alternative form of government. It is the full force of government in every aspect of one's life without due process. The government, not the individual, determines the outcome of one's life for the sake of the State.
In our capital-driven form of rule, the inherent danger of assuming power over others can induce the feeling of entitlement with increased responsibility. Rather than viewing elected office as a sacred trust and solemn responsibility, usurpers tend to grab office like ravenous carnivores with rapacious appetites for fresh blood.
Such ambitious office-seekers, generally thirst for power and look for every opportunity to wield it in order to hold and increase their hold upon the electorate. As of late, the liberal policies of the current administration grant ample evidence of ambition and power-mongering.
Grow government and lose personal power---that is what Americans are experiencing in greater frequency. Government entanglement in financial and economic concerns has unfairly stacked the deck against those who disagree with the administration's view.
The gods of liberal thinking are worshiped at the altar of Climate Change. Our children are inculcated by government run schools to believe that traditions like faith, marriage, gun ownership are wrong and inherently evil; that Climate Change is real; that learning one's gender identity, not one's gender at birth is more critical than learning; that America is a terrible, imperialist country compared to the rest of the world.
The liberal media medicates their viewership with wide-eyed stories about Global Warming as if a meteor was minutes from slamming into the Earth to end us all. Meanwhile, they minimize real stories of the thousands upon thousands of people suffering at the hands of ISIS. It was this president who had his Joint Chiefs of Staff declare that Climate Change, not ISIS or our national debt, was the greatest threat to our way of life.
The lesser god of parental over-watch by our current government---the promise that government will take care of you and me from cradle to grave---is NOT a function of constitutional government. And yet, our government has now jeopardized and most likely sacrificed the future well-being of our children and grandchildren by increasing the size of government.
Trillions of dollars in national debt will come due. Who will pay it? Not the ones spending it like drunken sailors on liberty, that is certain.
Government entitlement is killing American prosperity. Instead of stimulating the economy by providing tax-incentives for businesses that actually provide jobs, our government encourages folks to NOT enter the workforce using our tax dollars! And our government determines which businesses will succeed or fail based on their beliefs in Climate Change.
Remember the 'Cash for Clunkers' program? It used taxpayer dollars as incentive for gas-guzzling car owners to surrender their vehicles for destruction, while providing more tax dollars in rebates to buy electric vehicles (most of which were not in production when the program was rolled out.) Anyone know how well that program worked? Hardly, the media ignored the failure because reporting it as a failure would make their favored administration look poorly in the eyes of an easily distracted public.
It certainly was not a boon for the American taxpayer. Free charging stations for electric cars are available in many big cities. Who pays for the free electricity? You guessed it...
Yet the progress toward appeasing the lesser god of Climate Change made the liberal ruling class feel good. Finally, that evil, nasty enemy of Climate Change, the oil industry would have tougher competition with the cleaner electric industry (approved of politically and supported with financial favors by liberalism.)
But has anyone asked the obvious? How is all that electricity generated? By big ugly windmills and solar power? By hydroelectric plants? By nuclear power plants? Who knows?
Any time you hear the government offering a tax credit for an energy program, some other taxpayer is footing the bill. You can take that to the bank.
If we could only get government out of our business, the economy might actually recover. This alleged economic recovery is a lesson in failed liberal policy. You cannot tax a nation into prosperity anymore than you can save a bleeding man by cutting into a healthy artery and removing more blood.
Our government needs to be reduced in size, which should facilitate a reduction in spending. Unless we hold our government into fiscal accountability, there is no end to the waste as bureaucrats and elected officeholders feed at the trough of government malfeasance.
I am not a fan of government. I recognize that some government is necessary and, in smaller doses, beneficial. To become government-dependent is to limit oneself and possibilities for future prosperity.
All hail the lesser gods of liberalism...and pay dearly and at too high a cost.

ANOTHER POKEMAN GO MURDER
By Bob Walsh
Calvin Riley, 20, of San Mateo (CA) was a good size, physically fit young man.
He was a member of the basketball team at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton.
On Saturday night at about 9:45 p.m. he was playing Pokeman Go at Aquatic Park,
which is part of the San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park, when a
gunman shot him to death.
There are no known suspects and no known motive. Of course if the shooter was a
legally protected illegal alien (I’m sorry, make that Undocumented Democrat)
finding the person will be pointless.

THAI VOTERS DUMP DEMOCRACY IN FAVOR OF DICTATORSHIP
Victory for generals as Thais vote for junta constitution
By Aidan Jones and Thanaporn Promyamyai

August 7, 2016
BANGKOK -- Thailand voted Sunday to approve a junta-scripted constitution, preliminary results showed, in a boost to the army's political aspirations and a body blow to the country's stuttering pro-democracy movement.
The military says its new constitution will curb endemic political corruption, bring stability after years of unrest and pave the way for a general election next year.
But critics say it aims to neuter civilian politicians and introduce a tethered democracy under the stewardship of the military and its royalist allies.
Partial results released by the Election Commission late Sunday showed 62 percent of voters had approved the charter, with 90 percent of votes counted so far.
Authorities gave a subdued turnout estimate of 55 percent of Thailand's 50.2 million registered voters, after a poll run-up that saw independent campaigning and open debate barred. Official results will be released Wednesday.
Sunday's referendum was the first time Thais have been able to go to the polls since former army chief Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O-Cha toppled the elected government of Yingluck Shinawatra in 2014.
The kingdom is split after a decade of political turmoil that has damaged growth, seen democracy shunted aside and left scores dead in rival street protests.
A triumphant junta leader Prayut Chan-O-Cha, who has struggled for two years to convince many Thais of his ability to unite the country, swiftly hailed the win as step towards "a bona fide democracy" free from graft.
In a terse message released through the prime minister's office, he also hit out at "interference by foreign elements" using "malicious intent," without naming the parties.
The United States, European Union and United Nations all criticised the junta's bar on debate and campaigning in the lead up to the poll.
'RIP Democracy'
In a hint at the country's stark divisions, pro-democracy social media users were quick to lament a result that kicks back aspirations of a return to full civilian rule.
One Twitter handle called RIP_Thailand said:
"RIP democracy, completely stepping into army dictatorship," it read.
But Jatuporn Prompan, leader of the anti-junta Red Shirt movement, struck a defiant note.
"I want to tell Prayut that your victory is nothing to be proud of as your opponents had no chance to fight," he told reporters, referring to the ban on campaigning before the vote.
The preliminary results illustrated the kingdom's bitter geographic divide.
Only the impoverished, rural northeast -- a region that has voted in droves for successive Shinawatra governments turfed out by the army -- and the deep south -- hit by a Muslim insurgency -- voted against the charter.
But millions came out in favour of the military's charter, especially in the capital and the south.
Jostling elites
Thailand has a long history of turbulence.
The military has successfully seized power 12 times since the end of absolute monarchy in 1932 and this constitution will be the kingdom's 20th.
But the latest chapter in the political crisis -- dubbed the "lost decade" -- has been particularly painful.
Since a 2006 coup toppled Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, Yingluck's billionaire brother who is now in self-exile, power has flipped between elected governments linked to him and rule by the army and its establishment supporters.
Shinawatra parties have won all general elections since 2001, scooping up votes by promising greater wealth and opportunity to the nation's poor.
Sunday marked the Shinawatras' first loss at the polls for 15 years.
The country's tensions have been compounded by the frail health of 88-year-old King Bhumibol Adulyadej, as elites jostle ahead of the transition.
Junta opponents believe the charter will further warp democracy and deepen the divides.
The most contentious clauses call for a junta-appointed senate -- including six seats reserved for military commanders -- to check elected lawmakers and increased powers for courts, which are already accused of political bias.
Another clause makes it easy to begin impeachment proceedings, while a new proportional representation voting system could produce weak coalition governments.
"The coup makers tore up the old constitution and robbed us of our rights, promoting themselves to control the government," 'No' voter Ohm Kontaogan, 35, told AFP in Bangkok.
Prayut had promised to hold elections in the summer of 2017, whether or not the charter was passed.
But his previous election date promises have slipped.

HOW CAN A MEXICAN COP PURCHASE FIVE TEXAS PROPERTIES WORTH $2.4 MILLION ON A MONTHLY SALARY OF $3,200?
Mexico police official Arturo Bermúdez Zurita resigns after his Texas properties worth millions are discovered
By David Agren
The Guardian
August 5, 2016
MEXICO CITY -- A senior Mexican police official has been forced to resign after investigative journalists revealed that he and his wife had built up a property empire incompatible with his humble public-sector salary.
Arturo Bermúdez Zurita, the public security secretary of the violence-wracked state of Veracruz, stood down on Thursday after reports emerged that he and his wife had purchased a string of properties in Texas worth millions of dollars.
His resignation is a rarity in a country where public officials often accumulate fabulous personal wealth, yet accusations of wrongdoing rarely bring serious consequences.
But analysts say that Bermúdez’s fate may have less to do with serious attempts to tackle Mexico’s entrenched corruption than with shifting political winds following recent regional elections in which the ruling Institutional Revolutionary party (PRI) lost power in Veracruz and six other states.
Bermúdez resigned after the online news outlet Aristegui Noticias revealed that he and his wife had purchased five properties in suburban Houston with a combined value of $2.4m – even though he made a mere 59,500 pesos a month ($3,200), according to government transparency records.
Announcing his resignation on Twitter, Bermúdez denied any wrongdoing, saying he had always acted within the law. The Veracruz government issued a statement, saying Bermúdez was resigning to “clarify the origin of his personal patrimony and defend himself”.
The revelations mark yet another scandal for the outgoing state governor, Javier Duarte, who leaves office in December after a six-year term tarnished by spiraling violence, financial mismanagement and the murders of 19 journalists.
Frustration with Duarte and other powerful state governors led to an electoral rout for the PRI in June’s regional elections, which is now under pressure to show it is cracking down on corruption, analysts say.
“The PRI on the national level needs to vindicate itself and will likely do so by throwing someone in prison,” said Miguel Ángel Díaz, founder of the Veracruz publication Plumas Libres. “With scandal after scandal and the murders of so many journalists, Veracruz is an ideal place for scapegoating.”
Under Duarte, Veracruz became one of the country’s most violent states, and state police officials were often implicated in murders and forced disappearances.
“During these five years, it was a period of terror and silence,” Díaz said. “The police were kidnapping and extorting and disappearing people. Few media outlets dared to publish anything and those that did publish did so with fear.”
The incoming governor, Miguel Ángel Yunes, won office on an agenda of cleaning up Veracruz. But he was embarrassed earlier this year by a leaked recording in which he can be heard hashing out details of bidding for a $58m New York apartment. Yunes says he never purchased the property.
Analysts say allegations of widespread corruption in state governments are the consequence of political decentralisation over the past 20 years. Over that time, governors – who previously served at the president’s pleasure – gained autonomy and received increased federal funds to spend with little oversight.
According to Federico Estévez, a political science professor at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico, corruption by governors depended on political backing from the national government. “Now, the money is sent to them automatically and there are no countervailing powers,” he said.

MEET THE NEXT BOSS OF AMERICA’S LARGEST POLICE FORCE
“He's not a politician, he's a police officer, and morale is so bad in the NYPD right now that they need a guy like him,” says a former colleague, whereas Mayor de Blasio says, “He is ready to take this department where it's never been before in terms of a truly deep and consistent bond between police and community.”

When New York police commissioner Bill Bratton announced his retirement Tuesday, a bald 58-year-old Brooklyn native Mayor Bill de Blasio likes to call "Jimmy" was next in line. As chief of the department, James O'Neill has long been a low-key presence at NYPD conferences, but he'll step into a more political role next month. Bratton has groomed the guy for years, though, touting O'Neill as someone who can bridge the gap between the police force and communities of color—a divide that could be pivotal as de Blasio heads into a reelection campaign in 2017.
"He is ready to take this department where it's never been before in terms of a truly deep and consistent bond between police and community," the mayor said Tuesday. "It's an idea. It's been talked about for decades. It's never been achieved on a sustained basis. But this is the man who will achieve it, and that is very good news for the people of New York City."
Bratton, of course, is leaving behind a safe city but a department under fire––some of the NYPD's top officers are being probed for allegedly accepting bribes in returns for police escorts, and activists irate at police killings are still a fixture of local life. This means O'Neill will require the skills of both a house cleaner and a PR strategist; he'll need to stomp out corruption and engage seriously with Black Lives Matter, a once-nebulous movement that is veering toward traditional engagement with the political system. Whether he can pull that off while continuing the city's transition toward community policing will determine the future of an agency that tends to serve as a model for the rest of the country.
Born in East Flatbush, O'Neill started off as a transit cop in 1983 and became a sergeant four years later. He rose through the ranks until 2008, when he was demoted after the Narcotics Division he ran saw four cops get arrested for allegedly having sex with informants, paying them with drugs and even hitting up dealers for cash. Although O'Neill apparently thought about leaving law enforcement, Bratton urged him to stay on and eventually made O'Neill the city's highest-ranking uniformed cop in 2014.
Along the way, O'Neill became right-hand man to one of the most influential cops in US history, Bratton having helped put broken windows policing on the national radar. O'Neill carried himself rather differently than his boss, though, who has a reputation of a publicity hound, someone who has more in common with a politician than a beat cop. "The beauty of my job is it's apolitical," O'Neill said during a July press conference. "I love what I do. I love being a cop."
Joseph Giaclone, a former detective who worked directly with O'Neill for two years, remembers someone with no airs about him—even when he became a one-star chief. "He's a soft spoken guy who doesn't fly off the handle," he told me. "He's not a politician, he's a police officer, and morale is so bad in the NYPD right now that they need a guy like him."
Over the past few years, O'Neill has largely been tasked with formulating the city's response to a national dialogue on racially charged policing. In the search for an alternative method of fighting crime, he sent a team of officers to Los Angeles with the goal of aping that city's community policing program, according to the New York Times. That philosophy calls for officers to become fixtures in a particular area, get to know its inhabitants, and work toward addressing the social problems that cause crime—as opposed to merely reacting to it. What that looks like in practice is cops making "community stops," or chats with locals, and radioing them in.
De Blasio has suggested this model will be used in a majority of the city's police precincts this fall.
Before he could expand that approach, though, O'Neill had to manage the protests that exploded after video of Eric Garner's death went viral in 2014 and Officer Daniel Pantaleo was not charged with a crime. Earlier this week, Black Lives Matter activists again protested outside city hall, demanding Bratton be ousted. They got their wish, however inadvertently, but if de Blasio is going to win reelection, he'll need O'Neill's name to carry a shade less notoriety than his predecessor's.
"Chief O'Neill's status as the number two and hand-picked successor of Bratton makes it difficult to believe that he will not simply maintain the problematic state of affairs," said Anthonine Pierre, a spokesperson for local activist group Communities United for Police Reform. "Talk is cheap and our communities are tired. So-called community policing, training, and the rhetoric of police-community relations are no solution to the systemic problems with policing in this city and nation."

NOW THAT’S WHAT YOU CALL CLOCKING OUT
Yulia Sedunova, 27, stole a $70k Audemars Piguet watch from a man she met at a nightclub - and made off with another victim's $12k Rolex a month later
Daily Mail
August 5, 2016
A woman stole a $70,000 Audemars Piguet watch from a man she met at a New York City nightclub before pulling a similar stunt with a different suitor a month later, prosecutors said.
Yulia Sedunova, 27, met a 29-year-old man at the upscale club Provocateur on June 12, before heading back to his apartment, where he woke up the next morning to find his luxury timepiece was missing, the New York Daily News reported.
A 25-year-old man then reported his $12,000 Rolex disappeared from his pants after he brought Sedunova back to his hotel on July 21, authorities said.
Sedunova, a Russian native, met her first alleged victim in the Meatpacking District before heading back to his Madison Avenue apartment in Murray Hill.
The 29-year-old man said he made an effort to hide the watch, putting it on a 'high surface' before going to bed, the criminal complaint said.
But he woke up the next morning to find both Sedunova and his prized watch were gone.
A month later, she met a 25-year-old man from Boston and went back to the Wyndham New Yorker Hotel with him, authorities said.
He told the police his Rolex was in his pants before he fell asleep, but the watch, along with Sedunova, disappeared the next morning.
Attorney Ken Montgomery proclaimed her innocence, and prosecutors said during a court appearance at the Manhattan Criminal Court on Friday that Sedunova had not yet been indicted, according to the Daily News.
Sedunova was reportedly arrested again outside the courtroom, although it remains unclear why.
EDITOR’S NOTE: The moral of this story is that if you can afford a watch worth thousands of dollars you can also afford a classy call girl, instead of picking up some thieving trollop at a bar.

HILLARY’S CLOCK
A man died and went to Heaven.
As he stood in front of the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him. He asked, "What are all those clocks for?"
St. Peter answered, "Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone who has ever been on earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie, the hands on your clock move."
"Oh", said the man. "Whose clock is that?"
"That's Mother Teresa's", replied St. Peter. "The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie."
"Incredible", said the man. "And whose clock is that one?"
St. Peter responded, "That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abraham told only two lies in his entire life."
"Where's Hillary Clinton's clock?" asked the man.
St. Peter replied, "We're using it as a ceiling fan."

HILLARY’S OBSCENITIES, BIGOTRY AND LIES
Former Secret Service agents have spoken about what am arrogant and foulmouthed bitch Hillary Clinton was when they were protecting her. But wait until you see what Reinhold Aman has uncovered about the obscenities, bigotry and lies of the Hildebeast.
Aman holds a Doctorate in German Language and Literature to 1400 from the University of Texas (1968) and is the author of numerous articles and books.
Even though the following article by Dr. Aman is over 10 years old, I think it is important for Americans to read it now that Hillary Clinton appears headed for the presidency. (The bold lettering is Dr. Aman’s.)
"JEW MOTHERFUCKER" AND "NIGGER"
The Foulmouthed & Lying Clintons
By Reinhold Aman, Ph.D.
Maledicta Press
July 15, 2005
Millions of cretinous and amoral Americans still admire Bill and Hillary Clinton, the two foulest amoral slimebags that have ever besmirched the White House. These two foulmouthed and lying psychopaths have been, and still are, blindly supported by masses of non-clinical morons, diehard Democrats, and whorish liberal journalists and their editors.
The Clintons' habitual lies, gutter language, anti-Semitic outbursts, and anti-black slurs have been documented by reliable writers but have been -- and still are -- routinely suppressed by the so-called liberal media. This article serves to counter and expose that shameless misleading of the public about the true character of America's two supreme actors and how they talk in private.
Lest you think I am a Republican, conservative, or member of the imaginary "vast right-wing conspiracy": I am an apolitical anti-politician. Because I despise blatantly lying politicians with all my guts, I am presenting this uncensored record of some of the foul language used by these two parasitical pieces of putrid puke that have been living off the taxpayers of Arkansas and the United States for many years -- thanks to partisan, knee-jerk or imbecilic supporters. Anyone who admires or supports those two amoral swine is just as amoral as they are.
The Foulmouthed First "Lady" & Senator
The following five quotations are from Alec Flegon's Dictionary of English Sex Quotations (London: Flegon Press, 1996):
L.D. Brown, a member of Clinton's former security staff and bodyguard in Arkansas, stated that Hillary is "as foul-mouthed as any sailor you'd ever meet." (p. 147)
As reported by Bill's security staff, Hillary frequently erupted in expletive-filled tirades against him. "I can't believe you would ask a fucking question like that!" Or, about his shaky driving, "You're gonna get us fucking killed!" (p. 147)
She shouted at Bill over his unfaithfulness: "I need to be fucked more than twice a year!" (p. 170)
Hillary to Larry Patterson, an Arkansas state trooper and Clinton bodyguard from 1986 to 1993, who was bringing a judge's wife to the Little Rock airport: "What the fuck do you think you're doing? I know who that whore is." (p. 171)
Coming out of the Arkansas governor's mansion early morning on Labor Day 1991, Hillary screamed: "Where is the goddamn fucking flag? I want the goddamn fucking flag up every fucking morning at fucking sunrise!" (p. 173).
Patterson observed Hillary standing at the bottom of the stairs in the governor's mansion, and Bill at the top of the stairs with little Chelsea beside him, as Hillary screamed at him at the top of her lungs: "Goddamn stupid fucking fool!" [NewsMax, 15 July 2000]
Patterson stated that Bill and Hillary Clinton would frequently argue with each other using the worst expletives known to mankind, sometimes in the presence of their daughter Chelsea. Some of the anti-Semitic slurs with which she commonly laced her tirades against Bill were "Jew motherfucker," "Jew Boy" and "Jew Bastard." [NewsMax, 15 and 17 July 2000]
"If she disagreed with Bill Clinton or she disagreed with some of the Jewish community in Little Rock -- or some of the ethnic community -- she would often make these statements." "She would say 'Jew Bastard' or call her husband a 'Jew boy' or a 'motherfucking Jew'," Patterson told the WABC New York radio audience. [Carl Limbacher and NewsMax Staff, 17 July 2000]
Patterson said he heard Hillary "utter anti-Jewish epithets between 10 and 20 times over the course of his six years at the Arkansas governor's mansion." [NewsMax, 17 July 2000]
Hillary's rages continued after she took up residence in the White House, where she blew up at a Secret Service agent for declining to carry her bags. When the agent explained that he needed to keep his hands free in order to protect her, she replied: "If you want to remain on this detail, get your fucking ass over here and grab those bags." [Joyce Milton in The First Partner: Hillary Rodham Clinton (1999), p. 259]
Hillary to a Secret Service agent, after she heard that a University of California-Berkeley student had written a satirical column in The Daily Californian about daughter Chelsea: "What the fuck is going on?" [San Francisco Chronicle, 26 Nov. 1997]
Bill also badmouthed others and his dear Hillary. David Brock, ex-American Spectator reporter: "From the back of his Lincoln, Bill Clinton would say about Paula Jones, 'What does that whore think she's doing to me?' He also referred to his ex-lover Gennifer Flowers as a 'fucking slut,' according to Larry Patterson." [Drudge Report, 9 March 1998]
When Hillary (once again) physically attacked Bill, Secret Service agents had to separate them. "Keep that bitch away from me!" Bill Clinton told one Secret Service agent. [The National Enquirer, 5 Jan. 1999]
"Nigger"
Larry Patterson confirmed that he frequently heard Bill Clinton use "nigger" to refer to both Jesse Jackson and local Little Rock black leader Robert "Say" McIntosh. Longtime Clinton paramour Dolly Kyle Browning corroborated Patterson on Clinton's use of "nigger." "Not only did he use the 'N' word, he called him a 'GDN' [goddamn nigger], if you catch my drift," Browning told Fox News in 1999. [NewsMax, 17 July 2000] Brown also told NewsMax that the president would regularly make derogatory comments about African-Americans in private. "He has used the 'N' word before. Bill would make snide remarks about blacks behind their backs." [Carl Limbacher and NewsMax Staff, 17 July 2000]
Patterson said Hillary was no stranger to the "N" word either. He heard her say "nigger" "probably six, eight, ten times. She would be upset with someone in the black community and she would use the 'N' word, like, you heard they've got the president's brother on tape using the 'N' word." [NewsMax, 17 July 2000]
It's all in the family: Captured on videotape when Arkansas state police had Hillary's brother-in-law Roger Clinton under surveillance for dealing cocaine in 1984, Roger stated: "Some junior high nigger kicked Steve's ass while he was trying to help his brothers out; junior high or sophomore in high school. Whatever it was, Steve had the nigger down. However it was, it was Steve's fault. He had the nigger down, he let him up. The nigger blindsided him." [NewsMax, 17 July 2000]
"You Fucking Jew Bastard!"
Jerry Oppenheimer's book State of the Union: Inside the Complex Marriage of Bill and Hillary Clinton (2000) quotes former campaign aide Mary Lee Fray, who says that Hillary exploded in a rage after Bill lost his first bid for elective office, a run for Congress in Arkansas's Third Congressional District against John Paul Hammerschmidt. Hillary blamed Fray's husband, Paul, for the campaign's bungled political strategy. The slur was uttered at a heated, finger-pointing session at Bill Clinton's Fayetteville, Ark., campaign headquarters on election night in 1974, following his defeat. "You fucking Jew bastard!" Hillary yelled at Paul, Mary Lee confirmed -- even though Paul Fray is not Jewish. [NewsMax, 15 July 2000]
In the room that night were Bill Clinton; his then-girlfriend Hillary Rodham; Paul Fray, Clinton's campaign manager; and Fray's wife, Mary Lee. Another campaign worker, Neill McDonald, was just outside the door and heard everything. [Daily News, 17 July 2000] Paul Fray is a Baptist but his heritage is Jewish; his paternal grandmother was Jewish, and Bill and Hillary knew of his heritage.
Mary Lee Fray said that Hillary not only used an anti-Semitic slur but she shouted it so loudly "it rattled the walls." "It was very clear," she said. "Bill Clinton's face became white as a ghost." [FOXNews.com, AP and New York Post, 18 July 2000]
Former Clinton campaign aide Neill McDonald, who has always been a Clinton supporter [Jewish World Review, 19 July 2000], confirmed the story, according to the New York Daily News. [Reuters, 17 July 2000] He heard the obscenity as he stood outside the room. [FOXNews.com, AP, New York Post, 18 July 2000]
The Usual Media Coverup
Sources in Arkansas told mainstream reporters as early as 1999 about Hillary Clinton's use of anti-Semitic language, but they and their editors decided to withhold the bombshell revelation from the American people. [NewsMax, 18 July 2000]
Vanity Fair writer Gail Sheehy, who has enjoyed special access to Mrs. Clinton over the years, interviewed Mary Lee Fray for her book Hillary's Choice. Sheehy told Newsday that even though Mary Lee's account included Mrs. Clinton's vile slur, her husband made no mention of it in a separate interview. Sheehy does not say that Mr. Fray denied the story -- only that the subject did not come up. Apparently the author herself decided to avoid the topic, thereby ruling out any chance that a second source for Hillary's anti-Semitic shocker would compel publication. [NewsMax, 18 July 2000]
Sheehy said that she had heard the story of the alleged anti-Semitic comment several years ago from Fray's wife. But Sheehy said she left it out of her book because it was "off the wall. It was totally without credibility." [NewsMax, 18 July 2000]
NBC-TV's Andrea Mitchell admitted that Fray recounted the incident, complete with Hillary's anti-Semitic slur, during an interview for the network's "Dateline NBC" program in 1999. But NBC News editors decided to kill the report on the sensational allegation because the story lacked corroboration, Mitchell said. [NewsMax, 18 July 2000]
The folks at NBC must not have tried too hard to substantiate Fray's account, since his wife, Mary Lee, was more than willing to corroborate the charge -- as she has for dozens of reporters since the story resurfaced. [NewsMax, 18 July 2000]
One-time Clinton consultant Dick Morris gave Gail Sheehy an exclusive account of his now legendary story about Hillary's use of a Jewish stereotype during an argument she had with him. "Money -- that's all you people care about is money," Morris said Hillary yelled after he asked for a pay raise in 1986. In November 1999 Morris went public with the story, noting that he'd told it to Sheehy for her then-upcoming Hillary biography, Hillary's Choice. But when the book hit the stands in December, Morris's explosive report was nowhere to be found. [NewsMax, 18 July 2000]
Hillary's Lying & Denying
Hillary called a news conference on her Chappaqua front lawn and angrily and tearfully said, "I wanted to unequivocally state it never happened, I hate this type of politics of destruction." [UPI, 17 July 2000]
Senate candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton angrily denied having uttered an anti-Jewish slur 26 years ago. "I've never said anything like that in my entire life," the first lady said. [Reuters, 16 July 2000]
Mrs. Clinton angrily denied making the ethnic slur, saying the report was "absolutely false." [FOXNews.com, AP and New York Post, 18 July 2000]
Angry and emotional, Hillary Rodham Clinton firmly denied allegations from a forthcoming book that she used an anti-Semitic slur 26 years ago. [AP, 16 July 2000]
"I can only state unequivocally it did not happen," she said. "Any reasonable person looking at the evidence in this case would conclude there's no credibility on the other side." [Reuters, 17 July 2000]
Hillary: "I want to state unequivocally that it never happened and very clearly point out that it goes against my entire life," she said. "In the past, I may have called someone a name, but I have never used ethnic, racial, anti-Semitic, bigoted, discriminatory, prejudiced accusations against anybody. I've never done it. I've never thought it. So why people are accusing me of this is certainly beyond my understanding." [Daily News, 17 July 2000]
"I have a lot of confidence in the fundamental good judgment of New Yorkers to see through these kinds of charges," Mrs. Clinton said during a press conference on Ellis Island. [AP, 18 July 2000]
In addition to the above-cited anti-Semitic and anti-Black slurs by Hillary (and Bill), she used an anti-Italian slur against then-Senate candidate Al D'Amato in 1998 by publicly ridiculing him as 'Senator Tomato'." [NewsMax, 17 July 2000]
Being a pathological liar, Hillary denies & denies & denies. It's sad and depressing that millions of moronic Americans believe her and that amoral, stupid or opportunistic New Yorkers elected that carpet-bagging bitch as a senator. It is to puke.
Bill's Denials, Lies & Contradictions
Is there anyone who does not remember the two most widely reported blatant lies by that psychopathic liar Bill Clinton? You know, that he "didn't inhale" when smoking marijuana and that he "did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky." (I guess pot wasn't strong enough for "Cocaine Bill," whose half-brother Roger was caught on a police surveillance video saying, "Got to get some for my brother. He's got a nose like a vacuum cleaner." [The Electronic Telegraph (London), 15 July 1996])
The Clinton campaign released a statement from President Clinton in which he said: "I was there on election night in 1974 and this charge is simply not true. It did not happen. My wife has stood for social justice and tolerance and against racial and religious hatred and bigotry for as long as I have known her." [AP, 16 July 2000]
Clinton jumped to his wife's defense: "She might have called him a bastard," the president said in an interview in the New York Daily News. "I wouldn't rule that out. She's never claimed that she was pure on profanity. But I've never heard her tell a joke with an ethnic connotation. She's so fanatic about it. She can't tell an ethnic joke -- it's not in her." [UPI, 17 July 2000; Daily News, 17 July 2000; FOXNews, AP, and New York Post, 18 July 2000]
President Clinton came to his wife's defense, denying that she called a campaign aide a "fucking Jew bastard" in 1974. In two telephone calls to the New York Daily News from the Camp David Middle East summit, including one to Mo"rtimer B. Zuckerman, the paper's chairman and co-publisher, the President said, I was there and [Hillary] never said it. In 29 years, my wife has never, ever uttered an ethnic or racial slur against anybody, ever. She's so straight on this, she squeaks." [Daily News, 17 July 2000]
So Bill remembered the event but the lying bitch didn't? One wonders whether that foul female squeaked whenever she uttered "nigger," "Jew motherfucker," "Jew boy," and "You fucking Jew bastard!"
"It really got bad," Clinton said, "and he [Paul Fray] and Hillary somehow got in a fight. There was never a racial slur. If she were an anti-Semite, which she is not, it would never have occurred to her to say anything like that to him" -- a reference to the fact that Fray is not Jewish. [Daily News, 17 July 2000]
Hillary's hubby exposed that lying bitch in a rare moment of telling the truth: He acknowledged that there was a fight, that she called Fray a "bastard," and implied that she used "fucking" ("She's never claimed that she was pure on profanity"), but then switched back to his standard modus operandi by lying that she didn't use "Jew." Why? Because that would have cost her the pivotal Jewish vote.
Others On the Clinton Denials
"I think they've got a little bit of what you call 'selective memory'," Paul Fray added, referring to the president and first lady, who have vehemently denied the accusation. [FOXNews.com, AP and New York Post, 18 July 2000]
"I'm inclined to believe she did it. It's not because she has a vicious streak in her [and] has a notoriously bad temper; it's not because [Jewish] Dick Morris made a similar charge concerning a comment Hillary made to him when they were discussing his consulting fees: 'That's all you people care about is money.' Hillary is telling the patently unbelievable story that she doesn't even remember the altercation with Fray, when even husband Bill admits remembering the fight." Defended By Sycophantic Double-Standard Jews
Various big-name Jews, such as the shameless Clinton-ass-kissing Senator Charles Schumer (N.Y.), former New York City Mayor Ed Koch, and Abe Foxman, head of the Anti-Defamation League, immediately came to Hillary's defense by claiming that she is not anti-Semitic -- despite her frequent anti-Semitic utterances, the Rodham family's well-known dislike of Jews, the Clintons' anti-Semitic jokes, and her repeated use of "Jew bastard" and "Jew motherfucker."
"I don't believe she said it, and if she said it 26 years ago, so what?" Ed Koch, who makes no secret of being a proud Jew, told the New York Post. "Did she say it yesterday? There must be a statute of limitations." [NewsMax, 15 July 2000]
Abe Foxman told the New York Post, "If in fact she said it, that does not make her an anti-Semite, because there is a public record of Hillary Rodham Clinton of the past 26 years which has no iota of anti-Semitism." [NewsMax, 15 July 2000]

Not All New York Jews Were That Shameless
Leaders of New York's Jewish community lined up on opposite sides of the debate. Representatives of conservative Jewish groups disagreed with the Anti-Defamation League's defense of Hillary. Dov Hikind, a New York Assemblyman and leader of Brooklyn's Orthodox Jewish community, told UPI: "If this was only a remark made 26 years ago, then it wouldn't be a big issue.... [But this] is not an isolated case." "There is no statute of limitations for racism or anti-Semitism or bigotry." [AP and Reuters, 17 July 2000]
Excerpts from Rabbi Dr. Morton H. Pomerantz, state chaplain for the State of New York: "Madame Hillary called a campaign aide a 'Fucking Jew Bastard.' Funny, isn't it, that Manhattan's limousine liberal Jewish set wants so quickly to forget about Hillary's anti-Semitism.... The liberal New York media -- dominated as it is by members of the Jewish community -- have barely mentioned the trooper's [Larry Patterson] allegations and has afforded Hillary every benefit of the doubt. Surely, if Mr. Lazio, her Senate opponent, had made such remarks about Jews -- no matter how long ago -- he would have been skewered by New York's liberal press like there was no tomorrow. The major media have become inveterate ass-kissers of the Clintons...." [NewsMax, 24 July 2000]
Media Censors & Weasels
There's no doubt that Hillary called Paul Fray a "fucking Jew bastard." If there were the slightest doubt, you can bet that vicious Hillary would have sicced her amoral $450-an-hour shyster David Kendall on every author, publication and news service that reported her anti-Semitic slur, regardless of how veiled and coy the media were about her vile outburst.
Following below is a sampling of how the media reported "fucking Jew bastard." Note the euphemized fucking and its suppression, the euphemized bastard, as well as the various uninformative paraphrases, verbal maneuvers, and spineless weaseling. The quotations are arranged from the most to the least complete reporting of Hillary's exact and complete filth. TIME magazine wins the Weasel Prize for keeping the reader in the dark about what was actually said; the Associated Press is runner-up for euphemizing bastard and suppressing fucking; and United Press International wins third place for euphemizing all words but "Jew." A special prize goes to CBS Radio News for telling its listeners that Hillary merely "used rough language" and an unspecified "anti-Semitic slur" -- like what? Kike? Hebe? Christ-killer?

EDITOR’S NOTE: And this is the filthy bitch that America’s Jews and African-Americans are going to vote for. But get this … the biggest joke on Hillary is that daughter Chelsea married a ‘fucking Jew bastard.’

ANOTHER NUMERO UNO FOR TEXAS
In recent years Texas has topped the nation in the number of teacher-student sexual relations
According to ABC-13, Texas tops in the nation in the numbers of cases of teachers charged with or found guilty of inappropriate sexual relationships with students. So far this year, that number is at 100, according to expert Terry Abbott, who is monitoring the cases and training teachers on the topic. Pennsylvania is in second place with 37 reported cases and California is third with 35. States with the fewest include Alaska with two and Maine and Montana with one each.
In 2012, Kennedale high school teacher Brittni Colleps, the married mother of three children, ages 8, 6 and 5, gained nationwide notoriety for having had sex with five of her students at her home in Arlington, sometimes with up to four students at once. Sounds like a numero uno for teachers to me.
Looks like a lot of boys are getting lucky with their teachers in Texas. Of course there have also been a number of cases where women teachers, usually PE teachers and coaches, have had sex with girls from their classes. And there have been a few cases where male teachers have molested boys from their classes.
For a number of years Texas has led the nation in the number of teachers engaging in sexual relations with their students. 100 so far this year makes for a lot of boys getting lucky.
Hey, in Texas we always do things bigger and better. All the other states can eat their hearts out!

ANOTHER MEDICAL MARIJUANA RULING
By Bob Walsh
This week U. S. District Court Judge Dale Drozd, out of Fresno, ruled that pot users who have a “valid” medical certificate can still be fired for the use of the killer weed.
The ruling from the judge, however, was far from unequivocal. It does allow the pothead to continue his civil suit against Kohl’s Department Store for defamation and for the plaintiff’s assertion that Kohl’s violated its own policy of not discriminating against medical marijuana users as long as they were not stoned at work.
Former Kohl’s employee Justin Shepherd asserts that he uses weed to relieve a diagnosed condition of anxiety. (Perhaps he gets anxious if he can’t smoke weed.) He further asserts that, on the day in question, he had not smoked weed for several days prior. He claimed a back injury while working as a material handler and, when he went to the doctor they did a routine drug test. It tested positive for THC, which can, I understand, remain detectable in the system for as much as 30 days after use.
As far as I am aware there is no variable test for THC and no scale that indicates as a matter of law or of normal medical practice how stoned you have to be to be impaired.
I am unsure how much traction Shepherd will get if the civil case is tried in Fresno, but one never knows about such things.
EDITOR’S NOTE: A diagnosed condition of anxiety.” I had to interrupt my reading for a few minutes to recover from falling off my chair laughing. Who doesn’t suffer from anxiety? That’s the farce of medical marijuana … anyone can get a pot prescription.
Killer weed … is that akin to killer tomatoes?

THIS IS ONE OF THOSE ‘IT ONLY MAKES SENSE IN CALIFORNIA’ STORIES
By Bob Walsh
A year ago Gina Estevez was driving her Mercedes down the street in Vallejo in the company of her boyfriend, Rewia Beamon, 27. She was shot to death with a burst of rounds from a fully automatic AK-47. The cops know who shot her. He told the cops he shot her. Yet the shooter, Marlon Williams, 20, is not being charged with anything, not even the illegal possession of a machine gun.
The Solano County D. A. gave the shooter full immunity and charged the boyfriend with her death under the “provocative act” doctrine, saying it was the boyfriends fault for having her drive to what he knew might be a violent confrontation. The gang member who sprayed her fleeing car with rifle rounds offered a plea of self-defense, which the D.A. bought into.
Unfortunately for the D.A. the jury didn’t buy it and found Beamon not guilty four days ago. They took less than an hour to get there, just enough time to elect a foreman and run once or twice around the jury members for input.
Beamon asked Estevez to drive him to his ex’s house on July 7 of last year. They got into a beef and Williams, a friend of the ex’s family who happened to be there, went to the attic to get his AK. There is no evidence that Beamon had a gun, either on him or in the vehicle. No bullet holes or shell cases at the scene were associated with any weapon besides the A.K.
While Beamon and Estevez drove away Williams opened fire into the car, hitting Estevez in the back of the head and slightly injuring Beamon. Williams was arrested on an unrelated charge several weeks later and asserted self-defense in the Estevez shooting.
I don’t know about you, but this is pretty much pegging out my Stink-O-Meter. I think the cops and-or the D.A. were REALLY after Beamon, and let a murderer walk to shore-up (or maybe frame-up) a case in hopes to make something stick. It didn’t work.

GRANDMA ARRESTED WITH 13-YEAR-OLD DRUNKEN DRIVER AT THE WHEEL
Sanjuana Mercado-Mendez, 13, her grandson, blew a 0.14 breath test, nearly twice the legal driving limit of 0.08

SANTA FE – A Santa Fe woman and her 13-year-old grandson were arrested late Wednesday night after deputies pulled their car over and found the teen drunk at the wheel and the woman heavily intoxicated in the back seat, according to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office.
Sanjuana Mercado-Mendez, 52, was charged with child abuse, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and having an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle. She was released Thursday night on a $2,500 unsecured bond, meaning she got out of jail with her signature. The teen was charged with aggravated DWI, having an open alcohol container and other traffic violations.
According to the incident report, a deputy was driving behind a blue 1994 Oldsmobile sedan on Airport Road and initiated a traffic stop since the car wasn’t staying in its lane. The car turned on Constellation Drive, then onto Riverside Loop before finally coming to a stop. The driver, who had jumped to the back seat, was taken into custody, and the deputy noted that he smelled of alcohol and that his eyes were bloodshot and watery, according to a sheriff’s office report.
The report says deputies determined that he drank a 16-ounce beer from a can found in the backseat. A breath test indicated his blood alcohol content was 0.14, nearly twice the legal driving limit of 0.08. He was charged with aggravated DWI for refusing to take a chemical test and was taken into custody.
Mercado-Mendez, the grandmother, was removed from the backseat, and was highly intoxicated and unable to comply with verbal commands, deputies wrote. She, her grandson and a 15-year-old boy were traveling on N.M. 599 and “around town” while Mercado-Mendez had beer in a cooler in the backseat. Both Mercado-Mendez and her grandson were taken to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center due to their level of intoxication, while the other teen was released to his mother.
According to online court records, Mercado-Mendez had a driving with a revoked license charge dropped last year and pleaded guilty to driving without a license in 2013 and 2012. She was charged with larceny and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor in 2014, but the charges were dropped by prosecutors.

HOUSTON SOCIAL WORKER ACCUSES POLICE OF USING EXCESSIVE FORCE
By Brian Rogers
Houston Chronicle
August 6, 2016
A Houston social worker charged with resisting arrest in March says she feels lucky to be alive after a traffic stop turned into a physical confrontation with a Metro police officer and a two-day stint in jail.
Earledreka White, 28, was handcuffed and arrested while talking to a 911 dispatcher, asking for police back-up for the traffic stop, the video shows.
"I would like another officer to come out here," she tells the dispatcher. "My heart is racing. I'm really afraid."
The officer can be heard talking -- and at times shouting -- but his words are indistinguishable on the 40-minute video released Wednesday to the Houston Chronicle by White's attorneys. The video was captured by a surveillance camera of a nearby business and combined with the audio recording of White's 911 call.
The video shows the officer -- not White -- initiated the altercation without provocation, attorney Zack Fertitta said.
"Being pulled over is not the troubling part -- what happened after being pulled over is what baffles me," White told the Chronicle Wednesday. "As I tell the dispatcher that this man is threatening to 'tase' me, he backs away, then comes back and literally tries to break my arm."
The incident drew comparisons to the arrest of Sandra Bland last year in Waller County after failing to signal a lane change. Bland died three days later in the jail in what has been ruled a suicide.
The Bland case -- which came on the heels of several other encounters between black residents and police -- sparked nationwide protests by the Black Lives Matter movement and others.
Officials with the Metropolitan Transit Authority police department said they investigated White's claim in April, including viewing the surveillance video, and found no wrongdoing.
"She was uncooperative but he did everything reasonable within the law," said Metro Police Chief Vera Bumpers. "He explained what was going on, what the violation was and that he was focused on her safety, as well as his."
Wants charges dropped
The Harris County District Attorney's Office is reviewing the charge against White and investigating the allegations raised by her and her attorneys, said Jeff McShan, the district attorney's spokesman.
Lawyers for White said the charges against her should be dismissed.
"I'm as pro-law-enforcement as they come, but that's not good police conduct," Fertitta said. "You can't escalate a situation and then claim someone is 'resisting arrest.' That's ridiculous."
Fertitta said he plans to take the case to trial if charges are not dropped.
On the video, White can be seen talking on the telephone after being pulled over in the 10000 of South Main Street by an officer identified in court records as G. Luca.
She was stopped for crossing a double white line while driving, according to police.
Video shows that White got out of her car to find out why she was pulled over. She said Wednesday that she erroneously believed her purse was in her trunk, so she was trying to retrieve her driver's license.
The officer can be seen approaching her with handcuffs in his hand. White says he ordered her to get back into her sedan, then cursed at her and threatened to use a stun gun to get her to comply.
White, who said she has a master's degree in psychology, pulled out her phone and called 911.
According to the 911 audio, White explains to the dispatcher that she does not believe she has done anything wrong and asks that another officer come to the scene because she feels threatened.
White then tells the dispatcher she is being "harassed." At that point, according to the combined audio and video, the officer grabs her and tries topin her arms behind her back, unleashing a minutes-long struggle with White screaming for him to stop.
"This man is twisting my arm," she tells the dispatcher. "Please get your hands off of me. What is wrong with you? ... Why are you doing this? I haven't done anything."
She eventually can be heard breaking down into sobs.
"Oh my god, oh my god," she says. "Stop. Please, stop. Can you stop doing this?"
'He got impatient'
White was jailed for two days after being charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeanor that could land her six months in jail. She was released after posting a $1,000 bail.
Houston NAACP President James Douglas, who watched an edited version of the video, said the officer was within his rights to ask White to get back in her car.
But, he said, if the officer immediately threatened to use a stun-gun to get her to comply, then the incident started off on the wrong foot.
"He got impatient," Douglas said. "This is obviously a police officer who needs some training on how to de-escalate a situation. And I would think it would be especially important in today's climate."
Larry Karson, an associate professor of criminology at the University of Houston-Downtown, had not seen the video but said Wednesday that officers in general are taught to be wary.
"The profession trains officers to have this level of paranoia at times," Karson said. "For an average citizen that can lead to a confrontation. We saw that in Sandra Bland's case."
Karson said a common problem in policing is the expectation that everyone knows how to comply in a police stop. That expectation, he said, can often lead to confrontations.
Fertitta and his law partner, Andino Reynal, took the case pro bono after seeing the video.
"It's just shocking," Fertitta said.
She 'wasn't listening'
White said she is worried about her career because a conviction, even on a misdemeanor, could affect her professional licensing as a counselor.
At Metro headquarters, the police chief said the incident would be included in training materials.
"She was just that upset, she just wasn't listening at that point," Bumpers said. "The lesson learned was that we could have been more patient and waited until someone got there who she might have been more comfortable with."
She said people should follow an officer's directions -- including a request to stay in a vehicle during a traffic stop -- for safety reasons.
"If you don't feel comfortable or feel that you've been mistreated, you can always file a report later," she said.
EDITOR’S NOTE: A couple of observations.
The officer did nothing wrong. Contrary to what NAACP’s James Douglas said, the officer was not impatient. The video shows him standing patiently by for a couple of minutes while she talked to a police dispatcher on her cellphone. But when she told the dispatcher that she was being harassed by the officer, his patience came to a screeching halt and he got out his handcuffs. That’s when the situation escalated. Me thinks he got a little pissed off when she reported him harassing her.
As for the stop, it must have been a slow day because that was an unnecessary chickenshit stop.
From the Houston Press: “White, who is a social worker with a master's degree in psychology, was on her way home from work when she apparently changed lanes too soon and crossed that white line. According to Fertitta [her attorney], it's only a legitimate traffic stop if the driver crosses the line "unsafely," which he maintains wasn't the case for White. In fact, in his downtown office, Fertitta showed the Houston Press a video he took of ten cars doing the same thing over the course of a single minute.”
I see where she’s earned a Master’s Degree in Psychology. That should have taught her that accusing an officer of harassing her, when in fact he wasn’t, is likely to piss him off.

MUGSHOTS SHOWING MUSLIM WOMEN WITHOUT HIJABS WERE ‘A FORM OF PUBLIC SHAMING,’ PROTESTER CLAIMS
By Cleve R. Wootson Jr
The Washington Post
August 4, 2016
Jail officials in Cumberland County, Maine, have a special protocol for taking booking photos of Muslim women who wear hijabs. They’re photographed twice — once while wearing a hijab, and once without.
The scarfless photos are never supposed to be seen beyond the walls of the jail.
But the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation to see if the religious rights of two Muslim women were violated after mugshots showing them without their hijabs were released to the media.
A protester told the Portland City Council that the release of the photos was an effort to publicly embarrass the women, who were taken into custody during a group arrest last month at a Black Lives Matter event in Portland.
The women in question have not said anything publicly or complained to the sheriff’s office, Cumberland County Chief Deputy Naldo Gagnon told The Washington Post. Investigators have made contact with community members who know some of the protesters, but have not determined if the women felt their rights were violated.
Four women wearing hijabs were arrested, and “were promised that [jail officials] would not release photos of individuals that did not have hijabs on,” protester Matthew Raymond told the Portland Press Herald. “In our opinion, it was a form of public shaming and it’s a violation of their First Amendment religious rights.”
The July 15 protest, organized by the Portland Racial Justice Congress, drew 150 demonstrators, according to the Press Herald. The group was protesting the fatal shootings of black men by police in Minnesota and Baton Rouge, La.
At one point, 18 protesters linked hands and stood in a circle to block a busy street. Police arrested 17 adults and one juvenile and brought them all to the Cumberland County Jail, according to Gagnon.
The jail is the state’s largest, but processing 18 arrests at once created a bottleneck and a rowdy scene, Gagnon said. Adding to the chaos: Some of the protesters were agitated and yelled at the law enforcement officers trying to process them, the chief deputy said.
The arrests made headlines in Portland, and TV stations and newspapers asked for the mugshots of the arrestees. Police sent out pictures of the 17 adults — and that’s where the conflict started.
In the composite photo displayed on the Press Herald’s website, two women are wearing hijabs; but Raymond told council members that two more Muslim women were shown without their headscarves, even though they customarily wear them all the time. He didn’t identify the women.
“To be shown without a headscarf, it’s almost like being shown naked,” Ibrahim Hooper, a national spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, told The Washington Post. “The implication is that it’s an act of intimidation to humiliate Muslim women who are exercising their right to protest. We hope that’s not the case and we’ll have to see what the results of the investigation are.”
Cumberland County Sheriff Kevin Joyce told The Post that with the two protesters seen wearing hijabs in the composite photo, he is certain his staff followed policies to the letter. Female corrections officers are the only jail employees who saw them without headscarves. And their public mugshots show them appropriately covered, he said.
The Press-Herald photo caption identifies those two women as Salma Hassan and Nassen Sheikyousef.
In the composite from the Press Herald, another woman, Shadiyo Hussain-Ali, is shown without a hijab. But in a photo sent to The Post by the sheriff’s office, she’s wearing a purple headscarf.
Sheriff’s officials don’t know if Hussain-Ali is one of the women whose rights Raymond claimed were violated. Investigators are also uncertain of whether a fourth woman’s religious rights were violated, Gagnon said.
Joyce said his office still hasn’t received any complaints about the release of the composite photo.
But after hearing the rumor the several times, he ordered an investigation and wants someone from his office to question every protester who was arrested that night.
“Until I investigate it, I don’t know if these are two people who are just trying to cause trouble or if it’s a legitimate complaint,” Joyce told The Post. “Most people, if it was an issue, would have been knocking on my door the next day. But once we heard the third complaint, indirectly, I was like, if there’s smoke out there, I want to see if there’s fire.”
He defended his employees’ actions though, saying if there was a mix-up, it wasn’t purposeful or retaliatory.
His staff was handling an unusually high number of arrests, he said, a total of 35 people at once.
“We’re a busy jail, but 35 is a lot for a group of people to process,” he said. “But it’s a jail. I tell my staff, if you’ve got 35 or three, there’s no bonus for getting through them fast. There’s no need to rush. It’s not like anyone is going anywhere.”

OBAMA’S STATE DEPARTMENT EXCORIATES ISRAEL OVER ITS PLANS TO CONSTRUCT NEW APARTMENTS
Israel’s building plans bring forth the strongest condemnation ever made by any administration since the birth of the Jewish state
“We are deeply concerned by reports today that the government of Israel has published tenders for 323 units in East Jerusalem settlements. This follows Monday’s announcement of plans for 770 units in the settlement of Gilo.”
“We strongly oppose settlement activity, which is corrosive to the cause of peace. These steps by Israeli authorities are the latest examples of what appears to be a steady acceleration of settlement activity that is systematically undermining the prospects for a two-state solution.”
“We are also concerned about recent increased demolitions of Palestinian structures in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which reportedly have left dozens of Palestinians homeless, including children....”
“This is part of an ongoing process of land seizures, settlement expansion, legalizations of outposts, and denial of Palestinian development that risk entrenching a one-state reality of perpetual occupation and conflict. We remain troubled that Israel continues this pattern of provocative and counter-productive action, which raises serious questions about Israel’s ultimate commitment to a peaceful, negotiated settlement with the Palestinians.”
That is the statement made Wednesday by U.S. State Department spokesman John Kirby in response to Israel’s plans for building an additional 323 apartment units in settlements in East Jerusalem on top of 770 units previously announced in the settlement of Gilo. Kirby also condemned plans for other units, including 531 in Ma’ale Adumim, 19 in Har Homa, 120 in Ramot, and 30 in Pisgat Ze’ev.
Kirby’s excoriation was the strongest condemnation ever made of Israel by any administration since the birth of the Jewish state.
It’s no secret that President Obama hates Prime Minister Netanyahu. So it comes as no surprise that his State Department would excoriate the Jewish state for its plans to expand existing Jewish neighborhoods.
It is true that some of those neighborhoods exist on land claimed by the Palestinians. It is also true that the Palestinians really do not want a two-state solution to their conflict with the Israelis. Their oft stated goal is the obliteration of the Jewish state.
So, why is Obama’s State Department letting its bowels get all in an uproar over Israel’s apartment building plans? I can only surmise that it is because the President hates Netanyahu, and hence Israel.
And how have America’s Jews reacted to the undeserved excoriation of Israel? They’ve sat by in silence on their shameless liberal asses.

BLACK LABS MATTER VERSUS ALL LABS MATTER
By Bob Walsh
The San Francisco Peace Officers Association publishes a monthly journal. This month has a photo in it (on the back page) with two very cute Labrador retrievers, one black and the other white. The black one has a sign around its neck that reads BLACK LABS MATTER. The white one has a similar sign that reads ALL LABS MATTER. The BLM psychopaths are reacting like there was a picture of Marilyn Mosby being sodomized by a donkey on the front page.

In addition SFPD Sgt. Yulanda Williams, president of the Officers For Justice, a group of non-white SFPD officers, asserted, “It’s so inflammatory, and they still don’t get it.”
Anand Suibramanian, the executive director of a panel of retired judges investigating bias within the SFPD (not alleged bias, the bias is being taken for granted) asserted, “It shows a sever lack of judgement and empathy for the real and justified pain and outrage that black communities are feeling.”
Far as I am concerned the BLM stooges are a bunch of dog haters with no sense of humor and they can go fuck themselves.

METH FOR GROUP SEX WITH MEN GETS VIRGINIA MAYOR BUSTED BUT NOT BOOKED
Fairfax City Mayor Scott Silverthorne was arrested after offering an undercover officer meth to participate in group sex with men
Fairfax City, Virginia Mayor Richard “Scott” Silverthorne, 50, blew it big time Thursday when he offered an undercover officer some meth to participate in group sex with men. Scott met the cop through a website used to arrange for casual sexual encounters between men. The two eventually agreed to meet at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Tysons Corner where the officer was to provide a room for group sex with men in exchange for some meth.
From The Washington Post:
At the news conference, police gave some details on the case. They said they began looking at Silverthorne after a person gave them information that he possibly involved in a dating web site to meet other men. Authorities said they believe Silverthorne had “one other relationship” with someone on the web site as well.
Police said Silverthorne agreed to meet the undercover detective at 7 p.m. Thursday at the hotel. They said Silverthorne, a supplier, and an undercover officer met at the hotel and about 2 grams of meth was brought to the exchange.
Scott’s political career may possibly have come to a screeching halt. He faces charges of meth distribution and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Scott must have some powerful allies because, even though he faces a felony distribution charge, he was released from jail Thursday night without ever having been booked.
And now we know why the Rainbow Flag has been flying at City Hall. Just kidding.

PROSEUCTOR AND PROBATION DEPT. AT ODDS OVER SENTENCING RECOMMENDATION FOR CONGRESSMAN’S FATHER
By Bob Walsh
Congressman Ami Bera’s dad is a criminal. Babula Bera, 83, father of the Elk Grove (CA) Democrat, pleaded guilty to election fraud a couple of months back related to his son’s 2010 and 2012 congressional campaigns. Essentially he recruited friends and family members to funnel money into his campaign to get around election law that has a maximum for such donations. Both Congressman Bera and his father deny the congressman had any knowledge of this chicanery.
The federal probation people have recommended zero time in custody for daddy Bera. The prosecution objected on the record yesterday. The max he could get is five years in custody on each of the two counts he copped to.
The prosecution has recommended no more than 2 ½ years in custody. The guidelines call for between 46 months and 57 months in custody.
Actual sentencing is scheduled for August 18..

A mother travelling with two young children has been arrested after close to $500,000 worth of cocaine was found in her vehicle.
The 25-year-old was stopped on Interstate 5 in San Clemente, south of Los Angeles, by Border Patrol officials on Monday morning.
A two-year-old girl and 11-year-old boy were in the 2001 Honda Accord, which was searched by agents.
Thomas Blanks, the patrol agent in charge of the search, said: 'It is very sad to see innocent children entangled in this shameful attempt to smuggle illicit narcotics.'
A sniffer dog alerted officers to the presence of drugs and 14 bundles of cocaine were discovered, including eight in the rear seat where the girl sat.
In the front passenger seat, where the boy was sat, three bundles of cocaine were stashed and three additional packages of cocaine were hidden inside the driver's seat.
The 14 bundles weighed a total of 38.25lb and have an estimated street value of $459,000.
The woman, who has not been named, was arrested and taken into custody to be questioned by a task force led by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the vehicle was seized by US Border Patrol.
Both children were placed in the care of Child Welfare Services.
Officials have seized 1,069 pounds of cocaine during this fiscal year in the San Diego sector alone.

HOUSTON THIEVES MAY HAVE STOLEN MORE THAN 100 CARS USING LAPTOPS
Police believe Jesse Irvin Zelaya and Michael Armando Arce stole more than 100 cars in the Houston area by using laptops and electronic devices to disable alarms and break into dozens of SUVs
By Meagan Flynn

August 5, 2016
Two suspects whom police said they believe have stolen more than 100 vehicles in the Houston area have been arrested and charged.
Police think Michael Armando Arce. 24. and Jesse Irvin Zelaya, 22, were using laptops and electronic devices to disable alarms and break into dozens of SUVs. Then, police said they believe the men drove the vehicles across the Mexican border overnight before the owners even realized their cars were gone. The cars — specifically Jeep Wranglers, Cherokees and Dodge pickups — have been disappearing since last November, said HPD spokesman Victor Senties.
For now, each suspect is charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle while Arce is also charged with being a felon in possession of a weapon and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance —police found narcotics, as well as tools and electronics they think the suspects used to steal cars, at the time they arrested the pair. The Houston Police Department expects more charges will be filed and perhaps more arrests will be made as officers continue their investigation.
Police made the arrests after catching Arce and Zelaya red-handed: They had apparently stolen a Jeep Grand Cherokee and driven to southwest Houston on July 30. HPD identified the two as suspects after the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement sent police leads about thieves stealing cars using laptops, information the authorities received on July 25.
It was familiar to HPD. Back in April, they received surveillance footage from a homeowner whose Jeep Wrangler was stolen from his driveway in the middle of the night. A man had got in using a laptop. Five other Cherokees had gone missing around the same time, leading police to believe these were serial car thieves. Senties, the police spokesman, said the thieves were using the laptop to manipulate the ignition system, but declined to provide further details. HPD Detective Jim Woods told KPRC at the time, "He has somehow figured out a way to use a computer system to somehow help him reprogram another car key. He’s convinced the computer in the car to marry itself to the key he’s shown up with.”
Senties said Houston police now believe Arce, Zelaya and possibly others are responsible those stolen Cherokees as well as more than 100 others driven across the border over the last several months.

IS HOUSTON’S BAIL SYSTEM MUCH DIFFERENT THAN THE BAIL SYSTEMS IN OTHER PARTS OF THE COUNTRY?
Researchers from the University of Pennsylvania think Harris County's bail system is unconstitutional
By Meagan Flynn
Houston Press
August 4, 2016
Just months after Harris County was sued for jailing poor people who can’t afford bail, a group of law scholars from the University of Pennsylvania has swooped in and published a study that documents just how bad the problem is. And it’s bad enough that the researchers concluded Harris County’s bail system appears to be unconstitutional, since the poor endure overwhelmingly more negative consequences than the wealthy for the same crimes.
Looking at more than 380,000 misdemeanor cases from 2008 to 2013 (which is nearly all of them), the researchers found that if you’re detained before trial because you can’t make bail, you are 25 percent more likely to be convicted than somebody who could afford to buy his or her release. You are 43 percent more likely to be sentenced to jail time rather than probation, for example, and if you do get sentenced to jail, your sentence is generally nine days longer—or double—than that of a person who bailed out.
And as we’ve written about many times in the past, even a short stay in jail can cause you to lose your job, college scholarship or even your home. It’s why the findings in this study, said Paul Heaton, senior fellow at Penn’s law school, should be troubling to “anyone who cares about fairness in Harris County courts.”
Heaton said the group chose Harris County for the study both because of its large jail population—the third highest in the nation — and because it has a money bail system that is common among many counties in the United States. Harris County relies heavily on the bail schedule to set a person’s bail, which allows people to move through the court system swiftly and efficiently. But this leaves judges and magistrates little time to consider a person’s individual circumstances and ability to afford bail, as required by the constitution, Heaton said.
“It’s efficient in the sense that you can get a large number of cases running through the factory — but is it sufficiently individualized to meet constitutional muster?” Heaton said. “That’s a real question. In this quest for efficiency we sacrifice due process for individuals who just don’t have the means to afford even small amounts of bail.”
The researchers also sought some clarity as to why those detained pretrial are so much more likely to be convicted. They found the huge difference was mostly due to the much higher rate of guilty pleas among pretrial detainees: They take plea deals at a 25 percent higher rate than a person who bailed out. It makes sense, the study notes: People who have been stuck in jail awaiting trial are probably much more likely to want to go back to their families, jobs and lives than those who had been free all along.
And that’s a large part of the reason the Harris County District Attorney’s Office currently has 298 wrongful drug convictions as far back as 2004 sitting on its plate: Itching to get out of jail, all of those innocent people pleaded guilty to drug possession — only for lab results to come back weeks or months later testing negative for drugs.
What was the most troubling finding to Heaton, however, was that people detained pretrial are more likely to be charged with more crimes in the future. According to the findings, pretrial detention was linked to 30 percent more felonies and 20 percent more misdemeanors 18 months after those people were let out of jail.
It’s a finding that challenges the conventional basis for jailing people at all, Heaton said.
“It’s a particularly important pattern, given one of the reasons for detaining someone in the first place is public safety,” Heaton said. “You don’t want someone accused of a crime to potentially, while they're waiting for trial, commit other offenses. But what this finding demonstrates is that, in fact, detaining people might be worse for public safety than letting them go, because in the near-term, while they won’t be a threat to the public while they’re detained, afterward, they end up committing more crimes.”
Harris County does have reforms on the way — such as a pilot program offering defense attorneys to people at bail hearings to advocate for a lower bail or personal bond, District Attorney Devon Anderson told us earlier this year. It also has a new risk assessment tool, used to determine whether judges can trust that, if they let you go, you will return for trial and not commit new crimes. Harris County judges said in May they think this will lead to more personal bonds. Only 7 percent of people are lucky enough to get a personal bond each year — which Heaton said was unusual compared to other counties. If judges really were to start giving pretrial bonds at a much higher rate, he said, a lot of these problems may be solved.
Until then, though, Heaton says he believes the system violates the Equal Protection Clause of the constitution, given poor people endure worse consequences than wealthy people just because they can't pay for that golden ticket out the door on day one.
Heaton and his colleagues’ conclusions echo the arguments made in the lawsuit filed against the county in May by the national group Equal Justice Under The Law. The organization has sued 17 counties over their money bail systems that punish the poor, has won eight times — and has so far never lost. The group argues that at bail hearings in Harris County, magistrates almost never consider a person’s ability to pay and would prefer to set bail according to the amount listed on their convenient chart, which they say is unconstitutional. (Their suit cites similar research from former Harris County Pretrial Services director Gerald Wheeler that, surprise, reached the same conclusion; see his findings here.)
Equal Justice Under The Law filed its lawsuit days after a 22-year-old mother was pulled over while on the way to pick up her daughter from her mom’s house. She was hauled off to jail for driving with an invalid license and was unable to pay even 10 percent of her $2,500 bond. So instead she waited in jail, hoping her new job as a waitress would still be there for her when she got out.

AYATOLLAH KHAMENEI ADDRESSES TEHRAN PRISON MESS HALL DURING ANNUAL PRESS CORRESPONDENTS’ DINNER
Khamenei tells the gathered reporters that he would love to thank all their sources for everything they contributed, but that, unfortunately, he doesn’t speak Hebrew

TEHRAN—Playfully ribbing the group of journalists who had filed into the bare concrete room for the event, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei reportedly addressed a crowded prison mess hall during Iran’s annual press correspondents’ dinner Thursday night.
According to sources, the supreme leader of Iran stood at a podium in the cafeteria at Tehran’s Evin prison and delivered a lighthearted monologue in which he poked fun at a number of the press corps veterans in attendance, but also took time to recognize the seriousness of the work that had brought them to where they are today.
“Thank you all for coming out tonight,” Khamenei said to the gathering of Iran’s most accomplished reporters and bloggers, who were dressed for the occasion in prison-issued blue uniforms and gray blindfolds. “You guys are always saying you should get out more, but still—I’m sure it was a tough choice between being here or being hung by your wrists and whipped with cables, so I really appreciate it.”
“And look at that, even Shiva Nazar Ahari is here,” continued Khamenei, gesturing toward the award-winning journalist and activist. “We had to interrogate the hell out of her, but she finally confessed that she didn’t have plans tonight.”
The correspondents’ dinner, which has reportedly taken place in Evin prison every year since 1979, brings journalists together with the country’s most prominent artists, intellectuals, and reformers to celebrate the role of the press in Iran with small portions of prison food and prepared remarks from the country’s reigning autocrat.
During his 30-minute appearance, Khamenei reportedly took jabs at several banned news organizations and jokingly commiserated with the audience about how Twitter and YouTube were making journalists’ jobs significantly harder during those few minutes every couple months when the state firewall blocking them temporarily goes down. He also added that he was pleased to see so many familiar faces in the audience, but that he was especially happy to see all the new faces in attendance there this year.
“Issa [Saharkhiz], I know you’re a picky eater, so I made sure you got your favorite meal,” said Khamenei, gesturing toward the empty plate in front of the political journalist, who has withstood three hunger strikes since his arrest in November. “Just don’t overdo it, okay? Last time you did that, we had to send you to the hospital.”
“Now, I know some of you have been critical of the conditions here at Evin, but I promise I’ve only got a couple more jokes left,” Khamenei added.
The supreme leader remarked that he was grateful for such a packed house, pointing out that every seat in the prison dining hall was filled with journalists, activists, and their family members. Sources confirmed the evening’s schedule included not only dinner and Khamenei’s address, but also a group of Evin prison guards performing a highly choreographed routine of lashings and mock executions.
“These days, with so many people saying the newspaper industry is dead, I almost regret having gotten so involved in it myself,” Khamenei said. “Personally, I feel terrible about the decline of print media, but don’t quote me on that—really, it’s in you and your loved ones’ best interest not to quote me on that.”
Khamenei went on to deliver a series of snappy one-liners about Narges Mohammadi, a journalist and women’s rights advocate recently given a 16-year sentence, quipping that the interrogators at the prison had probably learned their tactics by watching the way she conducts her interviews.
Nearing the end of his monologue, the 77-year-old cleric acknowledged all the journalists in exile who were unable to attend the dinner, saying he hoped to see them at the event next year.
“In all seriousness, though,” said Khamenei, concluding the evening’s remarks on a note of heartfelt sincerity, “you guys represent the voice of the people, and that’s why I’m so glad you’re here tonight.”
