OBAMA-HATERS HAVE A DAILY FIELD DAY IN CYPERSPACE

The folks who pass on bogus emails are just as guilty as the originators of those hateful messages

The internet, which can do so much good, is also being used by thousands of charlatans spreading poisonous garbage throughout cyberspace in attempts to destroy the object of their hate.

Not a day goes by that I do not receive forwarded emails that contain vicious personal attacks on our president, photoshopped images that distort an event attended by Obama or by Obama and his wife Michelle, and alarming notices about Obama’s policies that have no basis in fact. The originators are very clever in that they often intertwine their vitriol with true press reports, thus making their bogus material look authentic.

Most of the folks who forward this trash would not do so if they knew the truth, but if they do not like Obama, they want to believe the worst about him and will forward the bogus messages without checking to see whether they are authentic or not.

I personally do not care for Obama, nor do I like most of his policies. I did not vote for him in 2008 and I will not vote for Obama in November, despite the fact that I don’t see Romney as much of an improvement. Like the Democrats, the Republicans are dominated by ideologues on the far side of the political spectrum.

Even though I think the president has been leading our nation in the wrong direction, I despise the personal attacks against Obama and the phony baloney alarmist crap that keeps circulating through cyberspace.

We can differ with Obama on the issues and hopefully defeat him that way, but we will not be able to defeat him with a bunch of personal attacks and hateful lies. So to all you decent folks out there I say, don’t participate in the dissemination of deceit. When you receive an email containing a personal attack on Obama or an alarmist message about one of his policies, just ignore it and don’t forward it to anyone else!
