By obtaining and publishing documents alleging that he was a child molester, the media has delivered the ‘coup de grace’ to Zimmerman
A cousin alleges that starting when she was 6 and he was 8, Zimmerman molested her by groping her with his hands, kissing her, fondling her inside her pants and inserting his fingers in her vagina. These molestations continued until she was 16.
The woman contacted the police a month after Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin. The child molestation allegations were made during a 27-minute interview recorded by investigators in the Martin case. The cousin is identified only as ‘Witness 9’ and told police, "I wanted to make it stop, but I didn't know how." She told the investigators that she never said anything about the alleged abuse because she was scared.
The media obtained a court order releasing the recording of the molestation accusations and 145 jailhouse calls Zimmerman made over the objections of both the prosecution and his defense attorney.
Mark O'Mara, Zimmerman’s lawyer, pleaded that "This irrelevant statement should be withheld from public dissemination because of the substantial risk that the public disclosure will lead to widespread hostile publicity."
The molestation allegations, whether true or not, have absolutely nothing to do with the murder case against Zimmerman. In fairness to him, they should never have been released to the media. The judge who ordered the release of that damning recording ought to be hung by his balls.
There have always been doubts as to whether Zimmerman would be able to receive a fair and impartial trial. Now all doubts have been removed because the media zapped Zimmerman again, and this time it has delivered the ‘coup de grace.’ He is now a dead duck for sure!
