A wanted parolee, a police K-9 dog and a Fresno cop all fell through the ceiling of a vacant apartment in Fresno on Tuesday, injuring the parolee.
The Fresno PD was notified by CDCR paroles that they thought a wanted parolee gang member was holed up at an apartment near Maple and Shields in Fresno.
The cops responded (I guess DAPO [the parole division] staff was busy with something more important) and located the as-yet unnamed parolee in the attic. A cop, a K-9 dog and the parolee fought in the attic and all of them ended up crashing through the ceiling, injuring the parolee just a tad.
They arrested the parolee on warrants, and for resisting arrest, injuring a police dog and various drug charges. I figure that should get him about 12 hours in custody in Fresno County. After all, I think those are all non-serious non-violent offenses.
