Obama stumbled into diplomacy after being tripped by Putin
Obama’s followers and most of the media are praising the President for pulling back from the brink of war to give diplomacy a chance. Are they kidding? The only reason Obama is giving diplomacy a chance is because he got tripped into it by Russia’s Vladimir Putin.
Putin, in effect, has saved Obama from a stunning and embarrassing Congressional defeat. While the Senate might have approved a resolution giving the President authority to attack Syria, the House would never have done so.
Praise my ass! If the American public doesn’t see that Putin tripped Obama, causing him to stumble into giving diplomacy a chance to take its course, they are either stupid or blind. Praise for the president in the current fiasco reminds me of the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009 having been awarded to Obama.

All that we have done is hand foreign policy over to a not-so-former KGB colonel. That isn't all bad. Perhaps we will at least have a coherent, consistent foreign policy now. Might not be good for us, but at least we will know what the hell is going on and why.
