“Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim”

Phyllis Loya,the mother of Pittsburg, California Police Officer Larry Lasater who was shot to death in 2005, responded to DID WE EXCHANGE AN ARMY DESERTER FOR FIVE HIGH-RANKING JIHADIST TERRORISTS? after I also posted it on PACOVILLA Corrections blog. Here is what Phyllis said:

Never underestimate [Susan] Rice’s ability to step forward representing the current administration and make yet another idiotic statement. There is no way that Bowe Bergdahl could be described as having served our country with honor and distinction. In fact, if his fellow soldiers are to be believed (and I do believe them) his service was the opposite: he abandoned his fellow soldiers and deserted them. Worse still, soldiers lost their lives searching for him. I pray for the families of those fallen soldiers.

And for God’s sake, someone please shave that beard off Bob Bergdahl. I want to vomit it every time I see it.

Here is my reply to Phyllis:

Phyllis, the father’s beard is nothing. Standing next to Obama, he spoke in Pashtu (the language spoken by the Taliban) and said, “Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim” —which means “In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Compassionate.” And then Obama hugged him.

Now that should really make you vomit.
