The governor of Pennsylvania, the mayor of Pittsburg and a couple of members of the city council are proposing some strong anti-gun legislation, which is clearly illegal in view of Pennsylvania's preemption laws in the matter.
If they are successful they would ban ownership or possession of the dread assault weapons, such as the AR-15 rifle.
Ban bump stocks, armor piercing ammunition, sawed off rifles and "high capacity" (factory standard capacity) magazines.
Adopt Extreme Risk Protection Orders, which would allow a person's second amendment rights to be "temporarily" suspended if a cop or a family member thinks they are an immediate danger.
