MAYBE IT WON'T EXACTLY BE FREEZING IN THE DARK

But Then Again Maybe It Will

by Bob Walsh

As I write this (Monday morning) P G & E is getting ready to shut down electrical power in large parts of the NorCal foothills due to a combination of high wind and very dry conditions, creating a major fire danger. Once the power is shut down in takes a minimum of 24 hours to get it back up again.

This preemptive action is needed due to various changes in the law, court rulings and an unwillingness to be sued successfully over property damage, injury and death caused by wild fires sparked by P G & E equipment interacting with the natural environment.

I understand the market for small and medium size generators in the area is outstanding.

I hope the light bill goes down.
