A 70-year-old Jewish woman was attacked and wounded by two Palestinians on Monday while protesting a Palestinian shooting attack that occurred an hour earlier, reported TPS.

Early Monday morning, Israeli motorists reporting gunfire directed toward them near the Palestinian town of Huwara in Samaria. Israeli soldiers immediately began searching the area for the shooter (see above photo).

Meanwhile, Jewish residents of nearby communities (often referred to as “settlements”) protested at a large traffic junction close to where the shooting occurred. It was here that at least two Palestinians assaulted the Jewish demonstrators, injuring the elderly woman.

She was treated on the spot for head injuries by Israeli army medics, and did not require evacuation to a hospital.
