Hitler had many photos taken with her.
This is Hitler with Rosa Nienau. She was also named The Führer’s Child and The Führer Sweetheart.
Hitler absolutely adored her and was very well aware that she was Jewish. He would often invite her for tea at his Berghof Mansion.
She often referred to him as Uncle Hitler.
In 1938, on the order of Gestapo head Heinrich Himmler, she and her family was forbidden from seeing Hitler at his Berghof or even being in the same picture as him due to her being Jewish. Hitler went on to say something like “My joy has been spoiled” when he was forbidden contact with her.
Unfortunately, she died of polio in 1943 at the age of 17.
Heinrich Himmler and his sidekick Reinhard Heydrich were the architects of the Final Solution, the plan to exterminate the Jews. Himmler, flanked by the sons of Heydrich, is pictured receiving the condolences of Hitler at the funeral of the assassinated Heydrich.
