Kiara Taylor robbed a Houston area pizzeria and when Peter Mielke couldn’t open the cash register, he shot dead the 19-year-ols who was working to pay for college
On February 21, 19-year-old Peter Mielke was working to pay for college at Reginelli's Pizza in Bellaire, a city within Houston, when in walked a black man to rob the place. When Mielke could not open the cash register, the robber shot him dead. The murderer then fled.
On March 3, Bellaire police received information about the identity of the killer. The next day they arrested Kiara Elijahjuan Taylor, 26, and charged him with capital murder.
It was Taylor's sister, Tarrell, who turned him into the cops. She told KPRC 2 that she bought a gun for her brother. She explained that “I needed some money and he gave me some money to get it. He just said he wanted a gun.” Taylor gave her $500 and she bought the gun at a Cash America pawn shop.
After she recognized her brother from the surveillance camera video shown on TV, she first called his parole officer, then contacted the Bellaire police and turned her brother in.
The killer has a long criminal history, including arrests for felony possession of a weapon, attempted escape and possession of marijuana among four felony convictions. As a felon, Taylor would not be able to purchase a gun from a licensed arms dealer.
Tarrell could very well be facing charges for buying a gun for a felon. She feels badly for Mielke’s family and asked KPRC 2 to “Tell them I'm really sorry about that. I wish I could take it back, but I can't take back what I did to get him the gun.”
Supplying a felon with a firearm is a very serious criminal act, but considering that she turned her brother in, my personal feeling is that Tarrell should not be charged with a crime in this case.

Screw her! She knew her dirt bag brother was going to commit a crime with that gun.
Sorry Howie, I can't sign up with you on this one. I am not saying hang her, but she deserves some sort of reasonable kick in the ass.
