Three sheepdog puppies were pulled alive from the rubble of a hotel in Parindola, Italy yesterday. This led rescuers to hope that some more of the 22 missing people might still be found alive.
The one month old Abruzzo puppies were found in the boiler room, which was presumably in the basement of the hotel. The puppies parents managed to get out of the hotel on their own.
Seven people at known to have died when the avalanche hit the hotel five days ago..
