It is in many ways incredible. A year ago people laughed when you said PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP. I saw it on the boob tube. Actual laughter. Three months ago the talking heads were still saying that Trump's chance was approximately equal to that of a snowball in hell. Then, on election night, the talking heads were either surprised, shocked or suicidal for the most part.
The Clinton presidency was about personal aggrandizement. The Clintons wanted to have wealth and power and the perks that went with it, and wanted to hold it as hard as they could. Barack Obama wanted to destroy America if he could. He gave it a good try, with the help of as pack of leg humpers and butt sniffers in the media. I honestly believe that Donald Trump wants to do good things. I am unsure that he knows HOW to do that, but I am confident that he will give it a good try. He is politically inexperienced but he is not stupid. And he is, I believe, a patriot.
He will not get everything done he wants to. He may not even get much of it done. He will, however, I believe, get in their and fight to do what he thinks is right. Not expedient. Not what will get the press to kiss his ass. Not to get invited to the cool kids table. To do what he believes to be right. I could be wrong, I have been wrong before. We will get a pretty good idea once he actually starts putting names forward for the federal bench. We will get a pretty good idea when his cabinet nominees start getting serious heat from the Democrat-Socialists in congress.
Barack Obama participated in a circle jerk most of his first two years when he was in total control. He didn't do a lot of what he could have done (thank God). I hope Trump doesn't sit around and stare at his belly button. We are still at the edge of the precipice and good intentions will not pull us back. It takes action.

I enjoyed Trump's inauguration speech. It made me proud that I voted for him.
He told off each politician seated behind him.
"For too long, a small group in our nation's Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished -- but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered -- but the jobs left, and the factories closed.
The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation's capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land."
Then he told us he was the same man who campaigned and meant what he said. He may have run on the Republican ticket, but he is not a true member of either party.
I predict that a new party will emerge under President Trump.
He is President Donald Trump and I believe he will do great things for all Americans not just the select few sitting in Washington D.C.
