Linda Brown, the then young black girl who was the test case from the landmark Brown vs. Board of Education, died yesterday at the age of 76.
This 1954 landmark case declared the concept of "Separate but equal" public funded educational system to be inherently unequal and therefore unconstitutional.
Some people have greatness, or at least notoriety, thrust upon them. That doesn't make them any less noteworthy.
