Jason Eaton, 45, was living with Wendi Sabatini and her two children in Indiana in 2016. He thought things were going well. He bought her a ring. When he pulled out the box she cut him off and would not even let him propose. He then pulled a pistol out of the night stand and shot her in the back of the head. He then walked to a friends house, told him that he thinks he just killed his g f, and had him driver him down to the police station to turn himself in.
They just gave him 47 years, with two years suspended for a probation period after release, when he will be over 90.
Some people just do not deal that well with rejection.
