There are now only 25 people missing from the Camp Fire in Butte County. The number of known dead is holding at 88. New DNA technology is giving them matches to known samples in hours rather than days. Technology is neat stuff.
The recent significant rain up there has not helped things as debris flows were an issue, as they were in the areas of the recent SoCal fires.
I suspect it will be at least months and maybe a year or more before any residence in Paradise is rebuilt. It will be weeks or even months before the debris, much of it possibly toxic, is removed.
There were over 14,000 structures destroyed, most of them private residences.
