BIDEN KNOWS VERY WELL THAT WHEN TRUMP REFERRED TO FINE PEOPLE HE WAS NOT REFERRING TO NEO-NAZIS AND WHITE SUPREMACISTS

Biden starts his campaign off by highlighting the Charlottesville riots and Trump’s statement that there were some very fine people on both sides

Biden jumped into the 2020 presidential campaign by accusing Trump of calling neo-Nazis and white supremacists very fine people.

Here is the video message Biden released on Thursday:

'Charlottesville is also home to a defining moment for this nation in the last few years. It was there in August of 2017 we saw Klansmen and white supremacists and neo-Nazis come out in the open.

'Their crazed faces illuminated by torches, veins bulging, and baring the fangs of racism, chanting the same anti-Semitic bile heard across Europe in the '30s. They were met by a courageous group of Americans, and a violent clash ensued. And a brave young woman lost her life.

'That's when we heard the words from the President of the United States that stunned the world and shocked the conscience of this nation. He said there were "some very find people on both sides." Very fine people on both sides?

'With those words the President of the United States assigned a moral equivalence between those spreading hate and those with the courage to stand against it. And in that moment I knew the threat to this nation was unlike any I had ever seen in my lifetime.'

What a hateful smear! Biden knows very well that when Trump referred to fine people, he was not referring to the neo-Nazis and white supremacists that were rallying in Charlottesville.

Trump was referring to those on both sides who came to Charlottesville in favor of and in opposition to the removal of a Robert E. Lee statue and who did not participate in the riots.

The media has had a field day twisting Trump’s words around and Biden is shamelessly taking up where the media has long since left off.

Trump’s problem is that he’s very good when speaking from a script, but when answering the questions of reporters or speaking off the cuff, he often gives the media and his political enemies the cannon fodder they need to attack him.

It doesn't matter if it's true. It matters if they can get enough suckers to believe it. Dr. Goebbels would be proud.

This sort of dishonesty REALLY pisses me off. The new Demicrapic party is dishonorable and will say whatever they think they must to get elected, whether it's reasonable of true. I have no tolerance for people of that ilk (Ya I know...that means I'm an ole intolerant white guy).

But as much as it pisses me off...it's gonna be kinda fun, in a perverse sort of way, to watch them twist and turn and lie and make stuff up for the next two years, only to be soundly beaten by president Trump. Again.

MAGA.
