The St. Edward Catholic School in Nashville, TN. has banned the Harry Potter books from the school library. The Reverend Dan Reehil, who is apparently in charge of such things there, has asserted that, after consulting with exorcists in the U.S. and in Rome, that the "spells" in these books could, if read aloud, result in the conjuring of an actual evil spirit.
The school superintended for the Nashville Catholic Diocese, Rebecca Hammel, is backing Reverend Dan in this matter.
Those people are idiots. I happen to know for a fact that that only happens if you say the spell backwards, in Klingon, at midnight on an odd-numbered Thursday within three days of a full moon while bare-ass naked and stinking drunk. Trust me on this.

Sounds like the voice of experience has spoken.
