WHOOPS

On New Years Day Rickey Tyrone White Jr. and his gf, Adrianne Marie Navarro, broke into the house of her former boy friend in Dublin, CA. They went to the home and Navarro started banging on the door. White was hidden nearby, dressed in black, armed with a handgun.

Considering the late hour the ex picked up his own handgun before checking the door. He recognized his ex and opened the door a crack, then White rushed the door and forced his way in. Lead started flying. When it was all over Navarro was tits-up and White had been leg shot.

White lied like a rug when questioned by the cops but the physical evidence, including the gun with an extended magazine thrown into the nearby bushes, tripped him up. He is facing murder charges in Navarro's death. Presumably since CA no longer has a felony murder rule that means White actually shot her in the cross-fire between him and the ex.
