SO, DID ANYBODY REALLY WIN ?

by Bob Walsh

In one respect Joe the Hairsniffer won in that he stayed awake, stayed vertical and didn't pee his pants as far as anybody could tell.

Trump may have won the fight portion on points.  Also Joe flat out refused to answer some important questions.  Made him look like he was trying to weasel around his liberal buddies, especially with his insistence that HE was the Democrat party right now.

Mostly it was like two 13-year old boys having an insult fight on the school yard.

My basic feeling was, "That's 90 minutes of my life down the crapper.".

EDITOR'S NOTE: Both refused to answer the questions.  The difference was that Biden came out and said he would not answer a question.

And you can put to rest that senile bullshit.

CALIFORNIA CRISIS ACT ON GOVERNOR'S DESK

by Bob Walsh

AB2054, aka The Crisis Act, is an interesting (insane?) piece of legislation which the governor must either sign or veto by midnight tonight.

If passed into law this bill, the Community Response Initiative to Strengthen Emergency Systems (CRISES) would establish a pilot program than would allow "community based organizations" to be first responders to many 911 calls.

One of the goals of this proposal is to NOT have armed police officers show up to many sort of family domestic crisis situations.  I guess just because Ralph is an alcoholic wife abuser who has just beaten his wife half to death that is no reason for the cops to get involved and maybe hurt Ralph.  Perhaps a psychiatric social worker and a music teacher can respond sometime within 2 or 3 hours after receiving a call and they can sing songs to him and get him to drop the baseball bat and the butcher knife and check himself in to the nut farm.  (You might have gathered I have some doubts as to the workability of this arrangement.)

IMHO if there are weapons involved or there has already been personal violence that is time for the cops to show up.  Those other people might be nice too, after all you do need somebody to get coffee or clean the puke out of the police car.

I wonder what Governor Gavin is going to do.  I also wonder how this lunacy will be funded.  Maybe they will use some of that excess money the cops waste on stupid shit like training.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Oh Bob, you're just a typical reactionary.  You can't see the good in this bill.  The health industry will benefit greatly from this bill  Hospitals will make a make tons of money treating social workers, pastors, your musicians, or whoever else might be on this crisis response team.  The funeral industry will benefit as well with an increase in funerals for those members of the crisis response team who were beyond hospitalization.  And the cops will benefit too because fewer of them will get hurt.

A DUBIOUS HONOR AT BEST

by Bob Walsh

There have no been one million deaths world-wide associated with the Covid-19 virus.  Due to differences in reporting standards it is hard to say how many of these deaths were actually CAUSED BY the Covid-19 virus and how many of them died from something else but also had the Covid-19 bug at the same time.  Also the virus has without a doubt been a significant contributor to deaths, primarily of elderly people with co-morbidity issues.

Never the less it is still 1/2 of 1% of the number attributed to the virus by Joe Biden for deaths solely in the U. S. , so I guess everything is OK.

THE PERILS OFUSING A TELEPROMPTER

by Bob Walsh

I confess I am not 100% sure of what happened.  I KNOW Joe Biden SAID he began his senate career 180 years ago.  I saw him say it.  Was that supposed to be a joke or is he so brain-burnt he just reads whatever they shove in front of his face?  I also know he said he attended a historically black college in Connecticut which in fact he never did attend, though he did give two commencement speeches there over the years.

I also know that when a friendly interviewer over the weekend asked Jill Biden about Joe's gaffs she went off on him (very politely) and DEMANDED that he not go there, because Trump is a liar so he can't question Joe's stupid remarks.  I am unsure I see the connection.

Of course if Joe really has been in the senate 180 years that would explain why he is so senile.  He is the only person still living who may have heard Abraham Lincoln speak in person.  What a PBS special that would make.

Of course if he could think on his feet he wouldn't need to have his handlers shove words in front of him.

EDITOR'S NOTE: After the debate, let's hope you won't have to eat your words.

BALLOT HARVESTING MINNESOTA STYLE

by Bob Walsh

If Fox News is to be believed they had some really interesting footage two days ago of a Muslim man in Ilhan Omar's district who has a really interesting side hustle.

He goes around to senior citizens in the area and demands that they give him their unfilled-out ballots.  He had a whole car full of the damn things.

The implication was that he then fills them out "correctly" and turns them in for cash to a Democrat party person.

It is specifically illegal in Minnesota to be in possession of more than three ballots at one time so, assuming this wasn't a put-on of some sort it could be interesting.

Allegedly the state and the feds are both investigating.

CAMEL GIVES BIDEN A RUN FOR HIS MONEY ON GAFFES

Kamala Harris calls late Ruth Bader Ginsburg the ‘Notorious B.I.G.’

By Yaron Steinbuch

New York Post

September 29, 2020

It was a “Notorious” blunder by Kamala Harris.

The vice presidential nominee had a Joe Biden moment – referring to the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg as the “Notorious B.I.G.”

“She was part of our culture. Yes, we wear those Notorious B.I.G. T-shirts with a lot of pride, but since she passed, there are parents reminding their children that she helped their lives,” Harris said during a speech about President Trump’s nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

The California Democrat mistakenly uttered the nickname of Brooklyn-born rapper Biggie Smalls rather than referring to Ginsburg as “The Notorious RBG,” as she was popularly known late in her long career on the bench.

“FWIW, Harris’s prepared remarks did say ‘Notorious RBG’ and for anyone not in the loop, that’s a reference to shirts like this that use the Notorious BIG aesthetic,” politics reporter Emily Larsen wrote on Twitter, where she shared images of Ginsburg apparel on sale.

Harris’ gaffe comes after she called Tupac Shakur the “best rapper alive” during an interview at the NAACP’s virtual convention Friday — even though the legendary emcee has been dead for more than two decades.

“Best rapper alive?” CNN commentator Angela Rye asked Harris.

“Tupac,” Harris answered before Rye reminded her that the West Coast icon died long ago.

“Not alive, I know, I keep doing that,” Harris said with a laugh.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Gaffes.  That's why it is a mistake to think Biden is senile.  He's been making gaffes ever since he entered the political landscape.

BETTE MIDLER NEEDS A SWIFT KICK IN HER TRUMP-HATING ASS

Bette Midler Calls On Biden To Kick Trump ‘In The Nuts’ During First Debate For ‘200,000 People He Murdered’

by James Samson

The Daily Reformer

September 28, 2020

For decades, the entertainer Bette Midler was best known for her singing and acting abilities. Since Donald Trump took office, however, she has become far more infamous for her frequent deranged and unhinged attacks on the president on social media.

Over the weekend, Midler took her hatred for Trump to a whole new level when she called on Biden to physically assault the president during the first 2020 presidential debate.

“I have to say this to #VicePresidentBiden, who is much more conservative than I ‘Sir, on Tuesday night you will be going toe to toe with a stupid, but wily street fighter,” Midler tweeted. “My advice is ‘KICK HIM IN THE NUTS!’ And then do it again for the 200,000 people he murdered!”

The claim that Trump “murdered” 200,000 people is of course false, yet Twitter has yet to fact-check Midler for it.

She was trying to blame Trump for COVID-19 deaths, of which there have been over 209,000 in the U.S., according to Worldometers. However, the virus originated in China and has killed nearly one million people al over the globe, so Trump can hardly be accused of “murdering” those who have died here.

This is far from the first time that Midler has tried to pin coronavirus deaths on Trump. Back in July, she accused Trump of being a “murderer” alongside a link to a New York Times article about his handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

“One of the saddest documents you will ever read. #DonaldJTrump is a murderer,” Midler wrote. “Stupid, callous uncaring; all in all the biggest catastrophe to ever befall our poor nation. I can’t stop crying.”

During another Twitter rant this past Sunday, Midler compared Trump to the murderous Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad.

He knows he’s going to lose, so he’s going to cheat again, as he has done his entire life. Are we going to allow this jerk to enslave us?” she wrote. “His father died at 93: thats 20 more years before we can even HOPE to be rid of him! Think of the dictators we’ve known. He’s our #Assad.”

THEY WON'T BE SATISFIED UNTIL THE COPS WHO RETURNED GUNFIRE ARE CHARGED WITH MURDER IN THE BREONNA CASE

AG agrees to release grand jury tapes in Breonna Taylor case

By Dylan Lovan

Associated Press

September 29, 2020

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky’s attorney general has agreed to release the recordings of the secret grand jury proceeding that considered charges against police involved in the fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor.

Attorney General Daniel Cameron said he would comply with a judge's order to do so after a member of the grand jury sued to have the record of the proceedings opened to the public.

Cameron also said in a statement that the only charge he recommended to the grand jury was wanton endangerment. He had previously declined to provide details on what charges prosecutors brought to the grand jury to consider when it met last week.

He said a recording of the grand jury proceedings would be released on Wednesday.

“Once the public listens to the recording, they will see that over the course of two-and-a-half days, our team presented a thorough and complete case to the grand jury,” Cameron said.

Last week, the grand jury in Louisville issued charges against one officer, Brett Hankison, for endangering three of Taylor's neighbors by firing through her home, into an adjacent unit where bullets missed people. None of the the officers were indicted in the killing of Taylor, who was shot five times after officers knocked down her door to serve a narcotics warrant on March 13.

Cameron said last week that two of the officers, Jonathan Mattingly and Myles Cosgrove, were justified in firing their weapons because Taylor’s boyfriend had fired at them. Mattingly was struck by a bullet in the leg. There was no conclusive evidence that any of Hankison's bullets hit Taylor, Cameron said.

A coroner’s report says Taylor was shot five times and died of multiple gunshot wounds. It says she was hit in the torso, her upper left extremity and both lower extremities. She tested negative for drugs and alcohol.

“Our prosecutors presented all of the evidence, even though the evidence supported that Sgt. Mattingly and Det. Cosgrove were justified in their use of force after having been fired upon by Kenneth Walker,” Cameron said in the statement. “For that reason, the only charge recommended was wanton endangerment.”

Hankison, who was fired from the force for his actions during the raid, pleaded not guilty on Monday.

Also Monday, an unidentified grand juror filed a court motion asking a judge to release the record of the proceedings, and to allow the panel's members to talk publicly about their experiences.

Cameron suggested that his office would not stand in their way: “We have no concerns with grand jurors sharing their thoughts on our presentation because we are confident in the case we presented.”

The motion also said there was a "compelling public interest" to have the grand jury record released. The filing accused Cameron of “using the grand jury to deflect accountability and responsibility for (the indictment) decisions...”

Cameron said in agreeing to the release of the recordings that the grand jury is meant to be a “secretive body.”

“It’s apparent that the public interest in this case isn’t going to allow that to happen,” Cameron said.

Such a public disclosure of grand jury minutes is rare. Most states have laws that would make it impossible. Other states, such as California, allow it under very specific circumstances, and some places require a judge’s order.

Grand jury transcripts were released in the police shooting of Michael Brown in Missouri. But a judge refused to release the minutes of the grand jury that decided not to indict New York City officers in Eric Garner’s death in 2014, citing in part concerns over secrecy. In Georgia, 11th Circuit this year ruled against releasing grand jury records in the 1946 lynching of two Black couples.

NO CONFEDERATE COSTUMES ON HALLOWEEN ..... THEY MIGHTSCARE THE SHIT OUT OF BLACK KIDS

Party City orders Virginia store to pull Confederate soldier kids’ Halloween costumes

By Jackie Salo

New York Post

September 22, 2020

Costume and party supplies store Party City ordered one of its franchises to pull a kids’ Confederate soldier costume from its shelves after facing backlash about the outfit being racist.

Caroline Brasler, who is the adoptive mother to two young black daughters, said she came across the Civil War costumes emblazoned with the Confederate flag while shopping Sunday at the location in Crossroads, Virginia, news station WUSA reported.

“The Confederate flag to me is a symbol of racism. To have that out there for a child to wear on Halloween sends so many horrible messages,” she told the outlet.

One of the costumes was labeled “Confederate Officer” and came with a Confederate flag on the hat, while the other was supposed to be Confederate General Robert E. Lee, the outlet reported.

Brasler said that after seeing the costumes there, she decided to take her daughters elsewhere to buy their Halloween gear.

“We discuss race, we respect race. And to see something like that just flies in the face of everything I try to teach them to be proud young women,” Brasler told the outlet.

Party City said the costumes had been on sale at the franchise location but were not available at any corporate-owned stores.

“At Party City, we do not tolerate racism or hatred of any kind, and we stand together in solidarity with our diverse colleagues, customers, and communities,” the statement said.

“As the leader in Halloween with more than 60 million customers per year, Party City supplies a broad assortment of costumes, none of which are meant to be offensive in any way.”

The company added that they have asked the branch and other partners to remove the offending costumes, WUSA reported.

“We have reached out to our franchisees and other partners to remove it from all retail locations ASAP,” the company said. “We know that as a company, we can and must do better.”

THE WINNER OF THE DEBATES WON'T NECESSARILY WIN THE ELECTION

America is looking for a happy ending

By Erez Linn

The Superbowl of American politics – the presidential debates between Donald Trump and Joe Biden – are about to get started. But unlike the NFL, the winner of the debates (and there are only three) won't necessarily win. In effect, what is said in these debates will do almost nothing to change the minds of undecided voters. The way in which it is said, possibly. Generally, the challenger to the president is the one who benefits from the debates. The fact that they are standing on the same stage as the most powerful man in the world is enough to give them legitimacy, and if Biden manages to stand for a full 90 minutes and return fire, it will be a major boost to his image.

The New York Times exposé on Trump's income taxes in recent years will no doubt cause the issue to be the subject of discussion in the debate, and Trump will again have to respond to claims that he is hiding the numbers about his true financial situation. However, US tax experts are saying that the parts of Trump's tax returns that have been made public do not indicate any criminal activity, and that the returns show that Trump has managed to use tax laws to receive the tax cuts and write-offs that are customary in the business world.

Either way, the debate momentum is the most important thing a candidate, incumbent or not, can take away. In 1960, the young senator John F. Kennedy got what he wanted from the debate, becoming the political equal of then-Vice President Richard Nixon (in part because Nixon ignored the need to shave and put on TV makeup before the historic televised debate). At the moment of truth, Nixon lost by a few electoral votes and a tiny gap in the popular vote.

Ultimately, when a sitting president is seeking reelection, the race is always a referendum, and the presidential debates are a preview of that referendum and his chance to prove that he deserves to be given another term.

Bill Clinton also took advantage of the debates with George H.W. Bush to prove how well he could talk directly to voters. Bush Sr., despite the halo of the Gulf War and the end of the Cold War, didn't come across well on camera.

Either way, both Donald Trump and Joe Biden know that the debates won't decide the election, but on the other hand, they know that every remark, now matter how minor, every slip – however momentary – and every unsuccessful soundbite and facial expression can make headlines and hijack the agenda for several hours or days. When Bush Sr. snuck a look at his watch in the 1992 debate, he became a punching bag for days.

How important are this year's debates? It seems as if they aren't, because most of the election events thus far haven't caused any movement in the polls. The voters have already made up their minds and are deeply involved in the campaign, and there is an unusually small number of undecideds. What will decide the election is not what promises Trump or Biden make, or even some pathetic comment by either of them – expectations of both are so low that nothing will faze voters.

What will determine the election is whether or not one of the candidates will manage to set America's imagination on fire and ride a wave of optimism, hope and energy, as Trump did in the last two weeks of the 2016 election. This year, Trump is facing a tough challenge – among other things, he is no longer an outsider. But beyond that, there is the electoral math: his voters are very passionate, but they comprise a smaller sector of the population than they did in 2016 and his coalition is gradually losing the votes that will decide the election: non-college educated white voters.

But Biden isn't facing an easy task, either. His voters are not over enthused, and even the ones who are disappointed in Trump could stay home or vote for Trump again for economic reasons, as Trump is consistently seen – even during the COVID pandemic – as the best qualified person to run the economy, which until recently was breaking records. Both candidates are hoping that the debates will put the wind back into the sails of their campaigns. But like every campaign, this race has its own dynamic. And the deciding event of the 2020 election could come out of nowhere, a moment before Judgment Day.

THE EU: NO FRIEND OF ISRAEL, FUNDS TERRORISM

How the European Union obstructs peace between Israel and the Palestinians

Jim Sinkinson

Flame

September 29, 2020

Europeans have a long and sordid history in the Middle East, from the Crusades to their colonization during the 20th century. Actions of European nations even to this day are guided by arrogance, economic self-interest and obsession with preserving their waning influence.

Europeans, during the last century, have been increasingly relegated from global Superpowers to bystanders in international diplomacy, while still clinging to economic vestiges in their former colonies, many of which are in the Middle East.

To maintain some sway, European powers have historically supported competing parties and interests in a region with many centuries-old conflicts. This, mixed with a long history of hatred and antagonism toward Jews, and especially Jewish sovereignty, has engendered double standards in dealing with the State of Israel.

What’s more, while claiming the mantel of peacemakers, the Europeans continue directly to fund regional initiatives that actually retard efforts toward peace.

Despite this interference, the Jewish state and its Arab neighbors are themselves demolishing previous barriers to friendship without help from European powers.

Even as relations between Israel and the Arabs warm, many European nations are still trapped in the failed Oslo paradigm—demanding suicidal Israeli concessions that often as not yield violent rejectionism from the Palestinians.

Ironically, European demands and treatment of Israel stand in direct opposition to their policies elsewhere around the world. While continuing to insist on Israeli compromises, Europeans have rarely pressured Palestinian leadership to give up its ultimate goal of eliminating the one and only Jewish state.

These double standards shown by Europeans toward the Jewish state continue to embolden Palestinian recalcitrance and violence.

A great part of Europe’s role in the so-called “peace process” is to provide funding and aid to the Palestinians, partly through the corrupt and authoritarian Palestinian Authority, but also through Palestinian civil organizations, many of whose aims are anything but peaceful

The European Union (EU) claims it only funds organizations and initiatives that promote its values. Reality, however, contradicts those assertions.

The EU’s Peacebuilding Initiative, a conduit for passing funds to Palestinian organizations and initiatives, continues to fund official Palestinian media channels, such as the Ma’an TV Network, which are openly anti-Semitic and glorify terrorism and murder of Israelis.

EU-funded organizations also act in opposition to official EU policy: According to NGO Monitor, numerous EU-funded NGOs have ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization, and dozens of other EU-funded NGOs promote boycott campaigns against Israel.

While the EU falsely refers to Israel’s presence in Judea and Samaria as illegal under international law and stipulates that any agreement between Israel and the EU not include Israeli business or interests over the Green Line, this flatly contradicts its policies elsewhere.

One example of this contradiction: EU-Moroccan fisheries treaties extend into the territory of Moroccan-occupied Western Sahara, which are considered illegal by the international community.

Furthermore, the EU has consistently proposed trade deals with Turkish-occupied Northern Cyprus, which have only been rejected because of the Republic of Cyprus’ objection. However, the EU continues to fund infrastructure projects for Turkish settlers in the illegally occupied territory in the north of the island.

Likewise, the EU has also long ignored corruption and funding for terrorism in the amounts of aid it provides the Palestinian Authority. The EU has not made its funding contingent on the Palestinian Authority ending its “pay for slay” payments to terrorists and their families.

The EU also ignores breaches in Palestinian commitments not to use European funds to promote incitement, terrorism and corruption. In fact, one former European Union external affairs commissioner said he needed a full European parliamentary inquiry into Palestinian misbehavior "like a hole in the head".

The EU and the European Parliament also periodically express shock at their own funding of Palestinian schoolbooks that have for decades promoted racism and incitement against Israel—but the EU rarely conditions its aid on an end to the education to hate and violence.

Serbia and Kosovo recently signed a momentous agreement to normalize relations with Israel, with a shared commitment by both nations to open their embassies in Jerusalem. The EU immediately voiced " serious concern and regret" over these pledges, and implicitly threatened that such a move could imperil both Serbia’s and Kosovo’s ascension to EU membership.

Thus, the Europeans threaten to torpedo an expansion of their own union, with all of its positive economic and social implications, merely because it would necessitate a potential member state recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Europe rarely, if ever, inserts itself into disagreements over whose capital should be recognized.

Why does the EU persist in undermining peace in the Middle East?

The first reason is demographic. As Europe’s Muslim and Arab populations continue to grow, reaching a quarter and even a third of the total populace in some areas, politicians who wish to be elected must ingratiate themselves to these populations by taking anti-Israel positions. It is simply a matter of math that these populations can swing a constituency, whereas no country in Europe has more than a couple percent of Jews.

Another factor is pure diplomatic and economic interests. In international forums, the Muslim and Arab blocs are dozens of nations strong, and to appease them at the cost of one Jewish state is a simple trade-off. Furthermore, around 60% of the world’s natural resources can be found in Muslim countries.

Finally, one cannot discount anti-Semitism.

European nations and Europeans have a long and tragic history of anti-Semitism. Expulsions, inquisitions, pogroms, targeted restrictions—all culminating in the Holocaust—amply demonstrate the place that the Jew has held in European society. The Jewish state is demonized, delegitimized and has double standards applied against it by the Europeans in ways similar to those used for centuries against Jews of ancient, medieval and modern Europe.

These are just some of the multitude of factors that motivate unfair and destructive European policy toward Israel in general and the Israel-Palestinian conflict specifically.

These actions have not only perpetrated almost three decades of failed peace-making, but also encourage Palestinian maximalist demands and violent rejectionism.

DITCH THE BITCH AND GO BACK HOME!

A Heartfelt Message For Prince Harry

By Howie Katz

Big Jolly Times

September 28, 2020

Harry, your wife has made and is continuing to make a fool out of you.  You used to be universally admired.  Now you are scorned.

Meghan was just a two-bit soap opera actress when she got her claws into you.  The gold digger was looking for the mother lode and she found it in you.  Now she has some A-listers like Oprah and George Clooney as best friends, celebrities who paid scant attention to her before she hooked you.

From the get-go, the fame and fortune seeker intended to drag you to live in  America where she would be free from the restraints of the Royal Family and where she could enjoy the life of a Hollywood celebrity.

You've been welcomed to America but you've got no business meddling in our  presidential election.  Your wife is a Trump hater and she's got you playing her tune.

In a Time 100 video you recently told us that"It's vital that we reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity."  That was an obvious dig at President Trump.  Shame on you!  You are a guest in our country and a good guest does not disrespect his host.

Harry. you represent the British Royal Family and I'm sure the Queen, your father and your brother are thoroughly embarrassed by your meddling in our affairs.  And your relationship and behavior with the gold digger must be having your revered mother turning over in her grave.

It is also obvious that Meghan wears the pants in your family because otherwise you would not have used your dog whistle to mock our president.  You used to be a real man that other men looked up to.  Now you're seen as nothing more than a milquetoast.

Sadly, you went from a hero in 2008, when you served on the front lines in Afghanistan, to a henpecked husband now.  You have been turned into a puppet whose strings are being pulled by a domineering bitch.

And your press is nearly as bad as the daily attacks against the President by the Trump-hating media.  The only good press you get is in the US, but only when you bad-mouth President Trump.

Your fame-hungry wife is achieving her goal.  There is even talk about her being a future presidential candidate.  Horrors!!

Harry, I'm sure you are having great sex and getting mind-blowing blow jobs, but when all is said and done, your marriage will eventually head for the rocks.  She'll dump you just like she dumped her father.  And it will most likely be a bitter and contentious divorce involving the custody of your wonderful son Archie.  But when it's all over, you'll be rid of the domineering bitch.

Once you are divorced. your ex-wife will be set for a luxurious life at the expense of the British taxpayers which she sure as hell damn well knew on the day you two first met.

Wake up Harry!  Your wife doesn't need you anymore.  She's gotten the fame others can only dream of.  When you've gone your separate ways, she'll be counting your money that she was after and partying with the A-listers.

My heartfelt advice is: Ditch the bitch sooner than later and go back home!  Beg the Queen for forgiveness.  And most of all, restore your now missing manhood.

FIVE WEEKS UNTIL ARMAGEDDON ..........OR NOT

by Bob Walsh

In five weeks the Democrat-Zombie apocalypse may occur.  It is distinctly possible that a majority of the voters in America, some of who will be actual citizens and legally entitled to vote, will vote to destroy what has been the most free and most open and most upwardly mobile and most prosperous country that has ever existed on this planet.

I truly hope the voters are smart enough to NOT do that, but I am not sure.  A lot of young people some of who vote, are absolutely convinced that Socialism is wonderful, despite massive evidence to the contrary, because they want to get out from under their student debt and get out of mommie's basement.  Whether they will ever get an actual job with a major in LGBTQ Literature and a minor in Corrosive White Guilt is another matter.

They really believe that American consumerism and consumption of fossil fuels are destroying the planet.  They really believe that the commercial product of beef is evil.  They really believe that guns can shoot themselves and that gun owners are intrinsically evil.  They really believe that most cops are racist and drive around all day looking for black people to shoot for no reason.  They are dumb fucks.

Decisions are made by those who show up.  Good decisions are made by people who are not dumb fucks.  Don't be a dumb fuck.  Learn some critical thinking skills.  Gather information.  REAL information.  Think decide.

EDITOR'S NOTE: I do not believe tonight's debate will make any difference unless one candidate blows the other one to smithereens, which is not likely to happen.  COVID-19 and Trump's tax returns are disastrous for the President.  The Republicans' best hope is to maintain their majority in the Senate.

FIRES GETTING BAD.....AGAIN......IN NORCAL

City Of Paradise Evacuated.....Again

by Bob Walsh

There are now a number of fires burning in wine country and other areas of northern California.  The city of Paradise, in Butte County, is being evacuated.  It was pretty much burned to the ground two years ago.  It previously had about 25,000 residents.  It is only about 1/10 of that right now though the rebuilding process has gotten under way.

PG&E has turned off power to about 11,000 residents of the foothills and wine country and expect that they will shut off another 54,000.  These Public Safety Power Shutoffs are now taken when a combination of weather conditions make it more likely that PG&E equipment will start fires.  Once the lines are shut off they have to be individually visually inspected before the power can be turned back on.  It takes time.

They are running 100+ temperatures in much of northern and central California and will be doing so much of this week.  The relative humidity is under 15% in many areas and there are areas of high winds.  All of this is combining to make the fire fighting situation dire.

There are teams from as far away as Israel and Australia operating in California right now.

Even areas like the North Bay and East Bay in the greater San Francisco Bay area are under red flag fire warnings.

It is of course all Donald Trump's fault because he is a "climate denier."  Hell, he probably flew over in AF1 and dropped some flares to start some of the fires.

PIERS PILES MORE RIDICULE ON THE GOLD DIGER AND HER MOTHER LODE

Murder at Markle Mansions, Archie learns about birds and bees, and Harry's great escape back to naked billiards: A sneak preview of the Sussexes' new reality TV show

By Piers Morgan

Daily Mail

September 28, 2020

Sometimes, whether you love him or hate him, Donald Trump says what we're all thinking.

Asked about Meghan Markle telling people to effectively vote against him in the upcoming US election, the President replied: 'I'm not a fan of hers...'

Then he paused for thought, smiled ruefully and added: 'I wish a lot of luck to Harry… because he's going to need it.'

Nobody's been a more ferocious critic of Trump this year for his woeful handling of the coronavirus pandemic, but I burst out laughing when I saw him say this.

His off-the-cuff zinger so perfectly summed up how most of the world now views the increasingly ridiculous Duke and Duchess of Sussex whose stupendous egos, to borrow a line from one of my favourite movies Top Gun, are now writing cheques their titled and entitled bodies will find very impossible to cash.

For a while now, I've been suggesting that Meghan Markle and her puppet Prince Harry are behaving like a royal version of the Kardashians.

In other words, a pair of ludicrously hypocritical, attention-seeking narcissists constantly at war with their families.

Now, hilariously, we learn they're actually going to BE the new Kardashians.

No sooner had Kim and the girls announced they're quitting their repulsively vacuous reality TV show, than up popped the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to replace them with one of their own.

As part of their $150 million Netflix production deal, they have reportedly agreed to star in a fly-on-the-wall reality series with cameras following them everywhere for three months.

Of course, this extraordinary invasion of their own privacy is exactly what they said they were quitting Britain to escape.

But such stunningly two-faced behaviour has never bothered Meghan and Harry, who thought nothing of lecturing to us about our carbon footprints whilst using Sir Elton John's private jet as a taxi service or preaching about poverty on the same day Meghan was enjoying a $500,000 baby shower party in New York.

We're told the new show will 'all be very tasteful' and that the couple are keen to 'give people a glimpse into their lives and see all the charity work they're doing.'

Meghan is apparently especially keen for the public to see the 'real' her.

Obviously, some of us who knew her before she sank her claws into poor Harry know exactly who the 'real' Meghan Markle is – a shockingly ruthless social climbing piece of work prepared to ditch anyone and anything in her desperate craving for ever greater dollops of fame and fortune.

So, it will be most amusing to see her try to pull the wool over yet more eyes with her new show.

To give you a taste of what's to come, I've had a sneak peek into the future and can reveal some details from their eight-part reality series, Keeping Up With The Sussexes.

Episode One: MURDER AT MARKLE MANSIONS The series starts in shocking fashion when a body is seen floating in the swimming pool of tEpisode Two: THE CAMhe Sussexes' palatial Santa Barbara home. Closer inspection reveals it is Jessica Mulroney, Meghan's former best friend who was ghosted for being racist but remains the keeper of all her damaging secrets. Jessica has a pair of Aquazzura stilettos rammed in her back, very similar to ones Meghan frequently wears, and appears to be dead. But as the Princess, who is suspiciously bare-footed when police arrive, insists she had nothing to do with the incident, Jessica suddenly sits bolt upright and spews out water. She's still alive! Meghan turns ashen and is seen urgently whispering to Harry: 'We're so, like, f*cked. Call Oprah.'

Episode Two: THE CAMBRIDGES COME TO CALIFORNIA In an attempt to restore relations with William and Kate, Harry invites his brother to bring his wife and kids to come and stay with them. The trip doesn't go well. During a grimly tense vegan dinner, with each guest allocated one non-alcoholic beer to go with their Kale, Black Bean and Avocado Burrito Bowl, William politely suggests that Harry stops spouting off about US politics, Harry punches him in the face and bellows: 'Don't you get it, my Megs is going to be PRESIDENT?!' William dusts himself down and sneers back: 'Of what – the Santa Barbara Wimmin's Wokery Club?'

Episode Three: ALL ABOUT ARCHIE To show just how much they want to protect their young son's privacy, Meghan and Harry devote an entire show to him. She reads Archie books including Animal Farm by George Orwell but adds a modern woke interpretation. 'All non-binary animals are equal,' she explains, 'but some are more equal than others, though none will ever be as equal as us obviously.' Harry then takes Archie hunting…for bees. 'We need millions of them to pollinate all Mom's avocados and almonds.' Archie is bemused. 'Do they die doing that?' he asks. Harry nods. 'Yes, many of them do, son, but it's all for a good cause – Mom's eco-warrior woke credentials!'

Episode Four: LIFE'S A BEACH Meghan and Harry take the cameras to the beautiful sun-kissed sands of Santa Barbara where they interview a group of starving homeless people brought there by their production team. 'Ma'am,' weeps one to Meghan, 'Please help me, I haven't eaten for a week.' She turns to him sternly and replies: 'Well you must force yourself!' The bemused man then tries to hug her but Meghan recoils in horror, screaming 'NO! COVID! UGH!' Horrified Harry quietly reminds her that his mother Diana once hugged AIDS and Leprosy patients. 'If you think I'm risking my $5 million Chanel endorsement deal,' she retorted furiously, 'you're even more stupid than I think you are.'

Episode Five: DADDY'S HOME Meghan's father Thomas is a surprise visitor to Markle Mansions and begs to be let inside to speak to his daughter. 'No chance,' says Harry. 'You're bad for our brand.' Thomas is mystified. 'But I thought your brand was about being incredibly kind, compassionate and caring to everyone?' 'It is,' retorted Harry, 'but that doesn't include our families or any friends who can't help us achieve world domination.'

Episode Six: INFLAGRANTE WITH KANYE Kim Kardashian invites her 'spirit animal' Meghan to her LA home for the weekend to give her tips on how to make billions out of fleecing the public with overpriced beauty and fashion lines. But in a shocking development, Kim nips out for some 'comfort shopping' on Rodeo Drive and returns early to find Kanye and Meghan in bed together, both wearing pro-Trump MAGA caps, as Kanye sings his smash hit Gold Digger. 'What will Harry say?' screeches Kim. 'He'll say whatever I tell him to say, as always,' chuckles Meghan.

Episode Seven: QUEEN OF THE CASTLE In an attempt to patch up their marriage, the Sussexes fly to Scotland to spend 'quality time' with the Queen and Prince Philip at Balmoral Castle. They end up spending precisely three minutes and 23 seconds, just long enough for Meghan to outline how she sees Phase Two of the woke evolution of the Monarchy, which involves her replacing Her Majesty as Queen, before Philip explodes and shouts: 'Oh shut up, you whiny deluded Wallis Simpson wannabee.'

Episode Eight: THE GREAT ESCAPE In a thrilling cliff-hanging denouement to series one, the beleaguered exhausted Prince escapes from Markle Mansions in a late-night rescue operation organised by his former best friends Guy Pelly and Tom Inskip who Meghan made him disown once they married. They take him by helicopter to Las Vegas for a riotous 'good old days' night of drinking alcohol, guzzling meat, playing naked billiards and chatting up dumb peroxide blonde models. The show ends with Harry running around the Bellagio fountains singing Beyoncé's song Freedom: 'Freedom! Freedom! I can't move! Freedom, cut me loose! Freedom! Freedom! Where are you? 'Cause I need freedom, too!' As the closing credits appear, the cameras cut back to Markle Mansions where Meghan is charging around the grounds armed with a meat cleaver screaming: 'NOBODY DUMPS ME! I'M THE DUMPER!'

WALL STREET UNHAPPY WITH HOMELESS MOVE FROM LUCERNE HOTEL TO RADISSON HOTEL, UPPER WEST SIDE RESIDENTS GLAD TO BE RID OF THEM

Latest in NYC’s homeless musical chairs: Upper West Side shelter residents to move downtown, residents of Midtown and Brooklyn shelters will stay put

Disabled residents of a Midtown homeless shelter can stay put after the city Department of Homeless Services scrapped plans to move them out to make way for single men temporarily housed at a luxury Upper West Side hotel.

Instead, residents of the Lucerne Hotel on the Upper West Side will be moved to a hotel in the Wall Street area, city officials said. City Council member Helen Rosenthal (D-Manhattan) identified the hotel as the Radisson Hotel on William St., near Wall Street.

The shelter will be the first of its kind in downtown Manhattan, city officials said.

The decision means residents of the Harmonia Hotel homeless shelter on E. 31st St. can stay put. A Harmonia resident said families learned of the decision several hours after meeting with Marco A. Carrión, Commissioner of the Mayor’s Community Affairs Unit, on Friday.

“We just got the decision that we’re allowed to stay. And all the tenants, they’re so happy,” said Mike Bonano, 50, who’s lived with his wife at the shelter for five months.

“Each one of us, we have a story,” Bonano said of the Harmonia residents. “I think we touched him [Carrión] enough that he got our message across to the mayor.”

The city’s decision followed weeks of backlash over Homeless Services' plans to move disabled Harmonia residents to other shelters around the city to make way for residents temporarily housed at The Lucerne.

Harmonia residents were menaced by a game of homeless musical chairs the city started in response to a vocal and well-organized group, Upper West Siders for Safe Streets, which complained about the homeless men at the Lucerne, who were moved there to curb the spread of Covid-19. The group has hired a lawyer and threatened legal action.

Shannon Luchs, a senior case manager at the Harmonia, said the unexpected news surprised staff and residents.

“We’ve been told that the shelter will not close. We’re staying. We’re still here for now,” Luchs said.

The Daily News reported Sept. 10 that city officials ordered residents to move out of the Harmonia shelter to make room for homeless men the city wanted to remove from the Lucerne.

Thirty-four people were ordered immediately out of the Harmonia before the city issued a temporary freeze on the process Sept. 11. Officials blamed the sudden Harmonia removals on a “communication glitch.”

Families with children were also to be removed from Flatlands Family Residence, a homeless shelter in Brooklyn, to make space for women housed at the LIC Plaza Hotel in Long Island City, The News reported on Sept. 12.

Homeless families at the Flatlands shelter will not be moved “at this time,” city officials said. But over the long term, the city plans to “transition it to a shelter for adults.”

The women at LIC Plaza Hotel will remain there as the agency searches for “alternative, non-congregate sites” to transfer them as the it phases out use of emergency COVID hotels, the city statement said.

Rosenthal — whose Upper West Side district includes the Lucerne Hotel — said the string of decisions that led the controversy is a “slap in the face” to Lucerne shelter residents who have followed the rules and tried to get their lives on track, and must now move again.

“It reflects a lack of a homeless policy because what’s happening is, the mayor is simply reacting to the threat of a lawsuit," said Rosenthal. "That’s all that this was.”

NAPOLITANO SUED BY SECOND SEXUAL ABUSE VICTIM

Judge Andrew Napolitano ‘forced’ man into ‘BDSM games,’ lawsuit alleges

By Ben Feuerherd

New York Post

September 28, 2020

A second man has accused Fox News personality and former Judge Andrew Napolitano of sexual abuse, claiming the judge forced him to engage in strange BDSM sex games over the course of a number of years.

Napolitano, who faces another sexual abuse lawsuit filed earlier this month, categorically denied the new allegations, calling it a smear campaign.

The alleged victim, James Kruzelnick, claims in the suit filed in New Jersey state court that he met Napolitano while working as a waiter at the Mohawk House restaurant in Sparta, NJ, in 2014.

During one of his visits, Napolitano allegedly followed Kruzelnick into the bathroom at the restaurant and groped him, the suit states.

“Defendant Napolitano grabbed plaintiff’s buttocks, and told him that ‘you are just so hot,'” according to the suit.

Kruzelnick rebuffed him, but continued to speak with Napolitano and serve as his waiter because he believed he was a “brilliant” man, the suit states.

In September 2015, he agreed to meet Napolitano at his house — where the former judge allegedly coerced him into BDSM sex games.

As Kruzelnick was sitting in Napolitano’s living room, the judge walked over to him with his pants down and said, “I am really into certain things,” then sat on his lap.

“I want you to start slapping me really hard,” Napolitano allegedly told Kruzelnick, demanding that he “just f—king do it!” when he was skeptical, the suit states.

The judge also allegedly agreed to help Kruzelnick’s brother with his legal troubles if he continued to grant him sexual favors.

During this time, the judge allegedly came to the Mohawk House with a young man he identified as an intern from Fox News, where Napolitano works as a senior judicial analyst.

Kruzelnick, the intern and Napolitano went back to his house, where he was offered a drink, according to the complaint.

“He woke up hours later in Napolitano’s bed, with blurred memories of engaging in a sexual threesome with Napolitano and the Fox News intern,” the suit states.

During a final alleged encounter, Napolitano attempted to rape and force Kruzelnick to perform oral sex on him while the two were at his farm in 2017.

Kruzelnick is seeking at least $15 million in damages and a jury trial, according to the suit.

A lawyer for Napolitano said Monday’s suit is “nothing more than a pile-on attempt to smear Judge Napolitano for their own financial gain. We will defeat these false allegations in court and look forward to exposing this continuing attempt to abuse our court system to smear a highly-respected former public servant.”

Fox News did not immediately respond to request for comment.

TEXAS SHERIFF BUUSTED, HIS OFFENSE BOLSTERS BLM

Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody indicted in Javier Ambler case

ROUND ROCK, Texas -- A Williamson County grand jury has indicted Sheriff Robert Chody on an evidence tampering charge in the destruction of reality TV show footage that showed deputies chasing and using force on a Black man who died last year.

Williamson County District Attorney Shawn Dick and Travis County District Attorney Margaret Moore opened a joint investigation in June, a week after the American-Statesman and KVUE-TV revealed details of Javier Ambler II’s death and reported that “Live PD” had destroyed its footage.

Additional criminal charges against Chody could be in the offing, as Moore said she is also pursuing felony evidence tampering charges against the sheriff related to events that happened in Travis County on the night Ambler died.

Former Williamson County general counsel Jason Nassour, who was at the scene of the deadly March 2019 incident, also was indicted on an evidence tampering charge. The charge, a third-degree felony, is punishable by two to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.

During a press conference Monday, Chody accused Moore and Dick of colluding in a politically fueled conspiracy to falsely prosecute him. Chody is facing a Democratic challenger in the Nov. 3 election.

“I did not tamper with evidence,” Chody said. “We are now at one month from the election and the DA is just now acting in a case that is nearly two years old.”

Jason Nassour’s lawyer, Joe Turner, said his client “is the most ethical attorney around.”

“Everyone who knows him is shocked by this,” Turner said.

Dick, at a separate press conference on Monday, said a grand jury indicted Chody and Nassour on Friday after hearing testimony from 19 witnesses.

“I have thought long and hard about the timing, and let’s make it very clear: We didn’t choose this timing,” Dick said. “The incident happened a long time ago, but the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office was just notified in May 2020 of the death of Javier Ambler.”

Moore said a Travis County grand jury would start to hear evidence in early November.

The indictments follow weeks of grand jury investigation that included testimony from deputies and others who were at the scene the night of Ambler’s death. Chody turned himself in at the Williamson County Jail, which he oversees, on Monday. His bail was set at $10,000.

Prosecutors said they could not disclose what they learned about Chody’s role in the video destruction because of the ongoing case.

Indicted officials are allowed to continue to serve under Texas law but can be removed from office if they are convicted.

Ambler, a 40-year-old former postal employee, died after Deputies J.J. Johnson and Zach Camden chased him for 22 minutes in a pursuit that started because Ambler did not dim his headlights.

During the chase, Ambler crashed his car multiple times before it was disabled in a North Austin neighborhood. Deputies used Tasers on Ambler four times as he gasped that he had a heart condition and could not breathe. He died minutes later.

What is known about Ambler’s final moments came mostly from the body camera video of an Austin police officer. “Live PD” crews accompanied both Williamson County deputies and filmed the incident. Prosecutors have said that footage likely offered the clearest perspective of the encounter.

Investigators told the Statesman this spring that they had been working for months to obtain the video and believed Williamson County sheriff’s officials and “Live PD” had stonewalled the investigation by refusing to release it.

Investigators have declined to say how they tried to obtain the footage.

Chody accused Moore and Dick of unnecessarily prolonging the investigation, saying that if they believed the video was key to the case, they should have aggressively pursued it sooner.

The contract between Williamson County and “Live PD” producers in place at the time of Ambler’s death allowed the show to destroy unaired footage within 30 days unless a court order or other state or federal law required it to be retained.

“Live PD” host Dan Abrams said in television interviews and in a post on his web site that sheriff’s officials initially asked producers to preserve the video. Two months after Ambler’s death, Chody told them the investigation was completed. At that point, Abrams said, producers destroyed the video.

In public statements, Chody has never described his knowledge about the video.

For months, his office fought the release of documents and body camera footage in Ambler’s death. He refused to release information to the Statesman in February and only made public investigative reports after the Texas Attorney General’s Office said it could not withhold the records.

The documents showed that an internal Williamson County investigation cleared deputies Johnson and Camden of any wrongdoing in the incident. Austin police and Travis County prosecutors are still investigating the deputies’ use of force. Moore, who leaves office at the end of the year, has said that she will wait for the county’s new district attorney to handle that matter.

The charge against Chody comes 39 days before Election Day. The first-term sheriff is being challenged by Democrat Mike Gleason, who is retired after serving 24 years in the Williamson County sheriff’s office.

The indictment also comes amid growing scrutiny of Chody’s leadership. Texas Rangers and the Williamson County district attorney are investigating at least five cases in which Chody’s deputies used force. In addition, the Statesman has reported that the sheriff hired multiple deputies with troubled histories, that leaders in his department allegedly rewarded deputies who used force with gift cards and that deputies engaged in more high-speed pursuits when “Live PD” cameras began rolling on patrols.

ANOTHER BLACK EYE FOR THE MALIGNED POLICE

Who was John Albers? FBI probes killing of Kansas boy, 17, whom police shot 13 times during wellness check

By Ishani Ghose

MEAWW News

September 28, 2020

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: The FBI has opened a civil rights investigation into the death of a Kansas teenager who had been shot to death while he backed his vehicle out of the garage of his family's home. John Albers, 17, who hails from Overland Park, had been shot 13 times in January 2018. Officer Clayton Jenison had been dispatched to conduct a wellness check after a friend had called authorities as they thought that Albers was suicidal, the Daily Mail reports.

The FBI will now "collect all available facts and evidence and will ensure that the investigation is conducted in a fair, thorough, and impartial manner." As per NBC News, the FBI had not stated that the reason for the review though the agency's field office in Kansas City, Missouri, is working alongside the US attorney's office in Kansas and the Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division.

Albers had been attempting to reverse his family's minivan out of the driveway when Jenison fired several rounds into the car after ordering Albers to stop. Video footage shows that Jenison had never been in the minivan's path and it is not clear whether Albers even noticed Jenison as he tried to leave.

Officer Jenison had not been named publicly after the shooting took place due to the state's restrictive public records laws until Albers' family filed a wrongful death lawsuit. The mother of the victim, Sheila Albers, alleged that the officials had refused to provide any records regarding the incident. After an investigation took place, Jenison was placed on administrative leave and later offered to resign from his post. He faced no charges in connection to the killing which was ruled as justifiable. Before any administrative action was taken, the officer resigned from his post.

Sheila Albers has revealed that she has welcomed the FBI and US Attorney's Office investigation and hopes that it will "shed light on what Overland Park and our DA have been able to keep hidden." Sheila added that the opening of an investigation "highlights the failure of Overland Park and District Attorney Steve Howe to be transparent in their investigations and be accountable to their constituents."

For the longest time, Sheila has been skeptical and questioned the police narrative that Jenison had no other choice but to shoot John as he was in immediate danger. She shared that she is hoping for more transparency from the federal investigation after officials "disseminated a false narrative, cleared the officer of wrongdoing in record time and structured a severance payout to the officer that killed John."

A spokesman for the city of Overland Park, Sean Reilly shared, "Officials will 'fully cooperate ... just as we cooperated with the investigations conducted by the Johnson County District Attorney's office and the Kansas Commission on Peace Officers' Standards."

The night that John was killed, his family had gone out to dinner while the police were conducting a wellness check at his home. The footage shows the officers arriving at the home after John's friends revealed that he was threatening to kill himself.

Two officers arrived at the home but did not approach the front door nor did they try to make any contact with John. John died from the gunshot wounds he sustained and as per a toxicology report, there was no drugs or alcohol in his system.

Miami High football coach shot, killed by 'nephew' who stole over $7000

By Peter Aitken

Fox News

September 27, 2020

A 15-year-old Florida teen has been arrested and charged with the murder of a Miami high school football coach, whom he was related to, and stealing over $7,000 from his home, according to multiple reports.

Charles Alexander faces charges of second-degree murder and armed grand theft, and will eventually be charged as an adult, the Miami Herald reported

An arrest report released on Friday states that investigators believe Alexander was staying with Miami High coach Corey Smith, and used the coach’s own 9mm handgun to shoot him inside a den.

Units responded to reports of a person shot inside a residence, and responders pronounced Smith dead at the scene. Alexander reportedly claimed he was in the bathroom at the time of the shooting and had found Smith’s body, CBS Miami reported

Investigators said Alexander provided inconsistent statements during questioning. A search of the house uncovered “six FC 9mm Luger spent shell casings and additional firearms evidence. Also, a large sum of U.S. currency was discovered, bundled with rubber bands and concealed among the defendant’s personal belongings.”

A Beretta belonging to Smith was found in a garbage can on the side of the house, and ballistics confirmed the spent shell casings were fired from the gun. The recovered sum of money totaled $7,450.

Alexander’s mother called the police on Wednesday to say that her son had confessed to her that he had killed Smith. Police arrested Alexander the following day, with a judge ordering that Alexander be held in secure detention.

Charles is the son of Lamar Alexander, an ex-con who hijacked a UPS driver in November, led police on a high-speed chase and died during a televised shootout on a South Florida street.

Lamar Alexander and Smith were cousins, but they were raised as brothers and Smith considered Charles Alexander to be his nephew.

“He asked to come over,” Amina Smith, the coach’s wife, told the newspaper. “We hadn’t seen him since his dad passed. Corey picked him up Sunday night and he spent the night. I left to go to work.”

During a hearing Friday morning, an attorney for Alexander told the judge his client was found incompetent four different times in the past two years. The attorney asked that he be given a psychological evaluation.

“There are many juveniles who also suffer from early childhood trauma, learning deficiencies and mental illness, and the criminal justice system can no longer afford to allow them to fall through the cracks,” Ron Vereen, defense lawyer for Alexander, said.

“If the allegations are proven true, that my client committed this unfortunate crime, then here’s a prime example of the system failing this child.”

Former New Mexico Democratic Governor Bill Richardson is accused of raking in hundreds of thousands in bribes and kickbacks to fund debauched lifestyle including 'sexual services and favors'

By Ryan Paryy

Daily Mail

September 28, 2020

The scandal plagued former governor of New Mexico - who Virginia Roberts claimed she had underage sex with on Jeffrey Epstein's orders - has been dragged into the mud once again.

Career politician Bill Richardson has been accused of raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes and kickbacks while in office - money which allegedly funded a luxury and debauched lifestyle including 'sexual services and favors', according to a recently unsealed legal complaint obtained by DailyMail.com.

According to the lawsuit, Richardson ran a scam dubbed the 'Richardson Ring' which saw the one-time governor benefiting from money he grafted from business investments into the state of New Mexico in the early 2000s.

The greedy politician lined his own pockets with cash, used some money to fund his political campaigns and organizations and also enjoyed lavish meals, wine and liquor as well as luxury travel and entertainment, the legal filing claims.

Richardson, 72, served as Governor for New Mexico from January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2010 and during that time he was the chairman of the State Investment Council (SIC).

Richardson's alleged 'pay to play' scheme was exposed by a man called Frank Foy and made public in unsealed court documents in January 2009.

The resulting public scandal forced the SIC to begin investigating kickbacks in state investment business and Richardson himself.

Now in a civil action filed in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, in May, but only unsealed last week, it's alleged that Richardson oversaw a sophisticated cover up of his scheme.

The lawsuit claims that Governor Richardson was able to place his trusted 'operatives' in state government jobs to cover-up his wrongdoing.

The documents allege Richardson installed several key allies into the SIC to help cover his tracks and thwart any corruption probe.

The filing states: 'So far, the defendants have succeeded in covering up Bill Richardson’s wrongdoing.

'To date, upon information and belief, Bill Richardson has managed to evade being deposed under oath about his graft.'

It added: 'As Governor, Bill Richardson controlled the hiring of all state employees in the executive branch. He used his control to carry out corruption, and to cover it up.'

The suit, the paperwork states, is brought on behalf of the State of New Mexico, Frank Foy and John Casey, under the Fraud Against Taxpayers Act, and seeks damages from Richardson and several of his alleged cohorts to repay the state the money they allegedly took.

The allegations will bring yet more unwanted attention on Richardson.

Richardson's office did not respond to a request by DailyMail.com for comment.

In court documents in 2015 the once influential politician was accused of being involved with Jeffrey Epstein's child trafficking ring.

Epstein victim Virginia Roberts, now Giuffre, named Richardson as being among a list of powerful men she was told to have sex with by Epstein and his alleged madam Ghislaine Maxwell.

Giuffre, now 37, filed a Florida lawsuit in 2009 against Epstein stating she was a sex slave for him from 1999 to 2002

Giuffre later alleged that she had sex with British royal Prince Andrew three times and was forced to have sex with Richardson.

The court documents were unsealed to the public in 2019 and Prince Andrew and Richardson have vehemently denied the claims.

Giuffre alleges that she was 'told to have sex' with Richardson by Epstein and his alleged madam Ghislaine Maxwell.

Epstein, who died from suspected suicide in his jail cell in New York last year, owned the huge 10,000 acre Zorro Ranch in New Mexico where it's believed he assaulted young girls and threw lavish parties for his powerful guests.

'Ghislaine told me from her mouth to do these things,' Giuffre said in a deposition.

'Jeffrey told me from his mouth to do these things with these people. Ghislaine instructed me to do the things that I did with Jeffrey Epstein on the very first meeting that I had with him.'

When the allegations first emerged, Richardson, who served as US Ambassador to the United Nations from 1997-1998, and Secretary of Energy under President Bill Clinton from 1998-2000 as well as chairman of the 2004 Democratic National Convention, said the claims were 'completely false.'

In a statement issued to Fox News by his reps, it said: 'Governor Richardson has never even been contacted by any party regarding this lawsuit.

'To be clear, in Governor Richardson's limited interactions with Mr. Epstein, he never saw him in the presence of young or underage girls.

'Governor Richardson has never been to Mr. Epstein's residence in the Virgin Islands. Governor Richardson has never met Ms. Giuffre.'

The claims all date back to the early 2000s, which is also the same time that his co-accused Prince Andrew started doing business in New Mexico with Richardson as part of his role as the UK's special trade envoy.

In October 2003, the prince's trip to New Mexico was front page of the local newspaper, The Santa Fe New Mexican, with the royal and Richardson swapping presents - with the governor giving a black concho belt and receiving a wine coaster made by a cousin of the prince, according to the paper.

The pair talked about wanting to increase trade between Britain and New Mexico with the prince saying he 'was honored to be here'.

They dined together that night at Richardson's mansion, who told the paper that it was the third time he'd met the prince after meeting in 1999 in Turkey. 'He happens to be my friend,' Richardson added.

TRUMP SLAMS NEW YORK TIMES TAX STORY

Daily Mail

September 27, 2020

Donald Trump on Sunday labeled The New York Times report that he paid just $750 in federal income tax in 2016 and then again in 2017 as 'phony and fake'.

Documents show the president paid no income tax in 10 out of the previous 15 years, according to a report by the paper. He was able to minimize his tax bill by reporting heavy losses across his business empire including at his golf courses. That's despite receiving $427.4 million through 2018 from his reality television program and other endorsement and licensing deals.

Responding to the report Sunday evening Trump told reporters: 'It's totally fake news. Made up. Totally fake news.'

The president, who campaigned for office as a billionaire real estate mogul and successful businessman, said he has paid taxes, though he gave no specifics.

Trump has previously blasted the long-running quest for his financial records as a 'continuation of the most disgusting witch hunt in the history of our country'.

The businessman is the only modern president who has refused to release his tax returns. Before he was elected, he had promised to do so.

Data obtained by The Times does not include his his 2018 and 2019 personal returns.

Trump's lawyer Alan Garten, said that 'most, if not all, of the facts appear to be inaccurate'. He added: 'Over the past decade, President Trump has paid tens of millions of dollars in personal taxes to the federal government, including paying millions in personal taxes since announcing his candidacy in 2015.'

The Sunday report by The New York Times was dismissed as 'fake news' by Trump.

Most of the debt comes from the Doral golf resort, and Trump's Washington hotel. Trump paid just $750 in federal income taxes in both 2016 and 2017, report says.

The Republican found took tax deductions on personal expenses such as housing, aircraft and $70,000 to style his hair while he filmed The Apprentice. A $95,464 payment to Ivanka's favorite hair and makeup stylist was also listed.

The report also suggests 'consulting fees' were given to the president's eldest daughter, which appear to have helped lowered the family's tax bill.

EDITOR'S NOTE: How did the Times obtain these records?  I thought tax returns are confidential.

If this story is true, Trump will be toast on November 3rd.  If he can prove the story is false, that could give him a boost with the voters.

YES, I DO INVEST IN METAL

Mostly Blue Steel And Lead

by Bob Walsh

The reason I mention this is a just picked up a "new" toy this week, a S&W Heavy Duty 38/44.  Not that I have a real need for such a weapon, but my old man carried one back in the day in the Military Police so I have been half-assed keeping an eye out for a decent one locally.

This one is completely ordinary, a 4 inch blue specimen in very good mechanical condition with a so-so appearance, but nothing that won't clean up.  I detail stripped it, cleaned and lubed it and made one minor mechanical adjustment so it is not a happy revolver.  Assuming it shoots well (and I have no reason to think it won't) I will then have to decide on minor touch-up on the finish or a reblue.  At the moment I am leaning towards originality but......

You can't have too many guns until you run out of room in the safe.  You can't have too much ammo until you don't have a place to sleep because it's stacked on your bed for lack of anyplace else to put it.  In which case you should have a bigger house anyway.

Unfortunately with the direction California is going, unless the new and non-moronic Supreme Court says otherwise it seems that the state is determined to see that as few as people as possible are effectively armed.

(Actually the 9th Circuit is now reasonably in the center of the real world with several Trump appointments and they have made a couple of pro-2A rulings lately which are maybe up for an en banc review.  By the end of the year CA gun owners may have some actual good news about their constitutional rights being respected by the state.)

THEY BETTER REMOVE THE WORD 'POLICE' FROM THEIR PATROL CARS BECAUSE THAT IS A DIVISIVE SYMBOL TO SOME IN THE COMMUNITY

An Oregon police department has announced the removal of thin blue line vinyl decals from its patrol cars, saying they have become a divisive symbol to some in the community.

The decals run along the sides of 29 Bend Police Department vehicles from door to rear. Work on removing them began last week.

Police Chief Mike Krantz said the blue line was originally meant to represent a blue horizon behind the mountain graphics on the patrol cars, but in light of recent events, that meaning was being interpreted differently, KTVZ reports.

"The intent of the blue line with the black background is, of course, for current law enforcement is the memorial, the ultimate sacrifice of giving your life and service of your community," Krantz told the station Thursday.

"Some community members view it as an important piece on our cars, others view it as a barrier between the police and the community, so it’s my role to evaluate that and look at how we can best serve the entire community," he said.

The station reported interviewing Bend resident Mikki Slaska, who said they understand why the decision to remove the blue line was controversial.

“Even if the symbol has been around longer than these protests have gone on, I think it’s been picked up by people for a different reason, and that seems like why they would take it away," Slaska said. "Because it no longer stands for what it used to.”

On Facebook, the police department said, “the divisive use of the thin blue line symbol to fit a narrative unassociated with our department or what we stand for, has unintentionally created an ongoing divide between some members of our community and the police officers who serve them.”

“In the spirit of mending divide, being inclusive with the community we serve, and to continue to build trust within our entire community, our current and future vehicle graphics package will no longer contain a blue line,” it said.

The department said moving forward it would seek a new design that incorporates a way to honor first responders who died in service to their communities.

BLACK PROFESSOR'S TWEETS: RACIST HOGWASH

Why Ibram Kendi Is Facing a Backlash Over a Tweet About Amy Coney Barrett's Adopted Haitian Children

Amidst the contentious debate over President Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett, academic and best-selling author Ibram X. Kendi drew backlash over a series of tweets regarding the judge's adopted Haitian children.

Democrats and left-wing activists are staunchly opposed to Barrett's nomination, as she is deeply conservative and would shift the balance of power further to the right—making a six-to-three conservative majority on the top court. Lawmakers on the left have warned that reproductive rights, LGBTQ issues, health care and immigration issues could all be threatened by her appointment.

Barrett, a white woman, is the mother to seven children—including two Black children she and her husband adopted from Haiti. Some commentators, such as right-wing pundit Candace Owens, had suggested that this signifies she cannot be accused of being racist. Kendi argued, however, that adopting Black children does not necessarily mean a person is not racist, although he also did not call Barrett racist.

"Some White colonizers 'adopted' Black children. They 'civilized' these 'savage' children in the 'superior' ways of White people, while using them as props in their lifelong pictures of denial, while cutting the biological parents of these children out of the picture of humanity," Kendi, a professor of humanities at Boston University, tweeted on Saturday.

"And whether this is Barrett or not is not the point. It is a belief too many White people have: if they have or adopt a child of color, then they can't be racist," the academic wrote.

After receiving criticism, Kendi added a further clarification as he saw some were misconstruing his remarks.

"I'm challenging the idea that White parents of kids of color are inherently 'not racist' and the bots completely change what I'm saying to 'White parents of kids of color are inherently racist.' These live and fake bots are good at their propaganda. Let's not argue with them," he wrote.

"Ibram Kendi launches a cruel, racist attack against Judge Barrett and her family. But what else would we expect from a fraud like him?" GOP Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas wrote, re-tweeting Kendi's post.

Newsweek reached out to a press representative for Kendi to ask for further comment, but he did not respond by the time of publication. In a Sunday tweet, Kendi appeared to push back against the criticism he had received.

"We should take it as a compliment when people attack us personally or when people misrepresent our work. Because that means they can't challenge what we are actually saying or writing or meaning or doing. Take the compliments with grace and move on," he wrote.

Barrett has never made a political issue of her adoptive children. Colleagues and friends have publicly spoken highly of her parenting, pointing out that she is actively involved in her children's lives and schoolin
