It
seems that, in light of the overwhelming level of violence in Chicago,
the mail carriers as threatening to quit delivering mail in certain
areas after a letter carrire was shot in the face.
In recent days another mail carrier was shot, this time with a paint ball gun. (Which is still ADW in most jurisdictions.)
The letter carrier that was shot in the face is still in the hospital in serious condition.
