A nine-year-old girl in Oklahoma suffered a fractured skull after someone hurled a slab of concrete off an overpass onto her family's car.
The piece of concrete tore a hole through the vehicle's roof and hit Morgan Brown in the forehead, according to local television station Newson6.
She was left with a hole in the side of her head a few millimeters deep and suffered mild concussion but is now fine after she had some stitches.
Morgan immediately started screaming 'momma, I'm dying' following the incident near Apache and Highway 75 and is lucky to be alive.
Her father chased after the people who threw the rock but couldn't find them and police are yet to identify the suspects.

'I was laying there, and then I heard the crash, and then I don't remember it hitting my head,' Morgan told Newson6.
'But I remember jumping up and sticking my fingers in the hole and then I started screaming, "momma, I'm dying".'
She might have been killed if she had not moved from the middle seat to the back seat to lie down, according to her mother.
Sabrina Brown said: 'If she had never gotten hurt earlier in the day on her leg that she's had some issues with, she would have been sitting in that seat that the rock came through.
'If she had never moved, the rock, the way that it came through, would have hit the whole side of her head.'
She added that it is difficult to think about how their lives could have changed if their daughter was killed by the rock.

Morgan is feeling a lot better and the injury has not stopped her from doing what she enjoys which is spending time with the animals on her family's farm
'They could have took that from us,' Sabrina said. 'In just an instant. I want whoever did this to think, you could have changed a whole family dynamic just because you were being stupid.'
Morgan's father Jesse Brown went to chase after those who threw the rock from the overpass but could not find them.
He hopes they turn themselves in or at the very least never do something like this again.
'They see it, and turn themselves in, or maybe some people know them, and turn them in, or at the very least, they'll be able to know that they almost killed a little girl,' he said.
'And just decide never to do that again.'
Morgan is feeling a lot better and the injury has not stopped her from doing what she enjoys which is spending time with the animals on her family's farm.
EDITOR'S NOTE: There have been so many incidents of this type that we urgently need a law making it a felony for tossing objects at moving cars.
