The ramshackle three-story structure was first spotted on a treacherous cliff edge at Devil's Slide, Pacifica by a drone in December 2022

The dwelling shows signs of life include a punching bag, a solitary wooden chair and a fully enclosed room

The three-story structure was first spotted on a treacherous cliff edge at Devil's Slide, Pacifica,, by a drone in December 2022 - but is alleged to have been there for at least ten years.

Speaking to the San Francisco Chronicle , one local land expert has said the structure has existed for at least ten years, and may contain a hermit. Samuel Casillas, president of the Pacifica Land Trust, told the outlet he has never met the occupant, but believes a man still lives on the site.

The property appears to have been constructed out of driftwood and has several rooms perched precariously on the rock face which offers stunning - but very dangerous - Pacific Ocean views.
