Just in case any of you are tracking such things the price of name-brand
regular unleaded gasoline in the formerly great state of California has
hit $6.00 per gallon in many areas. The highly outnumbered and mostly
ineffective Republicans in the CA state legislature are calling for a
stay on the massive gasoline tax in California. The proposal has
essentially zero chance of going anywhere. Democrat-Socialists want
MORE tax on gasoline, not less.
