The ramshackle three-story structure was first spotted on a treacherous cliff edge at Devil's Slide, Pacifica by a drone in December 2022

The dwelling shows signs of life include a punching bag, a solitary wooden chair and a fully enclosed room

  The shanty house had previously included an enclosed room and a primitive deck topped with chairs, several buoys and even a punchbag

The ramshackle three-story structure on a treacherous cliff edge at Devil's Slide has collapsed after being destroyed by a series of storms, exclusive DailyMail.com footage shows. 

Photos show the wreckage of the driftwood home near Pacifica, California, with the roof ripped open and blue tarpaulin exposed. 

The shanty house was thought to be home to a hermit and had previously included an enclosed room and a deck topped with chairs. 

The fate of the person who painstakingly built it is unknown.
