The Trump administration has just announced that from now
on a significant number of illegal aliens (formerly known as
undocumented democrats) will be held IN CUSTODY without bail or
conditional release until their cases are adjudicated. This could take
months. Years in some cases. They wouldn't even be able to have a bail
hearing.
This will certainly be appealed by various sob sister organizations pretty much immediately.
If
it happens this will be a very expensive proposition. Even allowing
for the fact it might tend to discourage further illegal immigration it
will still cost serious bucks. It will certainly inhibit criminal
activity by people who would otherwise be on the street and so
inclined. Which doesn't necessarily mean it should not be done. Just
that it will cost a dollar or three.
EDITOR'S NOTE: That's OK. Trump can use the money he's taken away from Medicaid.
