I guess Shannon O'Connor, 51,
wanted to be the cool mother. Or maybe she wanted some action for
herself. It is hard to say. In any event she just got bitten on the
butt by her wild alcohol fueled parties for teenagers.
The
Los Gatos, CA. was just found guilty of 47 counts including child
endangerment and sexual offenses. The trial lasted three months. She
will be required to register as a sex offender and could get 30 years
when she is sentenced late this month. She has been a guest of the
county for the 4 1/2 years since her original arrest.
Among
other things O'Connor allegedly encouraged teenage boys to sexually
assault extremely intoxicated young girls in a hot tub. She originally
faced 20 felonies and 43 misdemeanors. Her teenage son and several of
his friends were the primary "beneficiaries" of these parties. Most of
these parties occurred at O'Connor's house but some occurred at rural
locations.
