You can bet that the majority of kids and their unmarried mothers are on some sort of welfare benefits.
For 2012, the overall birthrate for unmarried mothers in the U.S. was 40.7 percent.
Broken down by race, the birthrate for unmarried mothers was:
72.3 percent for non-Hispanic blacks.
66.2 percent for American Indians/Alaska natives.
53.3 percent for Hispanics
29.1 percent for non-Hispanic whites
17.2 percent for Asians/Pacific Islanders
The high birthrate for unmarried mothers, many of them on welfare, will help Democrats to gain and remain in power and all but guarantees the perpetuation of the welfare state.

It will be hard to get rid of the walfare state when the government is the functional father for so many children. Which is, very likely, what the democrats want in the first place.
