CHOLERA OR TYPHOID?

The choice for president will be either a loud-mouthed vulgarian or a felonious smooth-talking shakedown artist

By Bob Walsh

Sometimes In The Real World There Are No Good Choices

It seems now that, barring an indictment or some other unusual occurrence, the next President of the United States will be either a loud-mouthed vulgarian who launches into nasty personal attacks against opponents on general principle and whose political background is as flexible as Gumby and a manifest incompetent who is almost certainly also a thief and a criminal whose candidacy is endorsed by the fact that she is a she.

My inclination is still, reluctantly, towards Trump. He is not a stupid man, though he has recently done some stupid things. He MAY make some good decisions. He MAY appoint judges who believe that the law and the Constitution mean what they actually say, not what they personally WANT it to say. He MAY actually mean it when he says that the world is a better place if America is strong rather than a paper tiger joke.

Hillary, on the other hand, would without a doubt be an unmitigated disaster. She refuses to acknowledge that the Constitution actually means what it says. (If you don’t believe me see her recent interview bit with George Stephanopoulos on the second amendment.) Her idea of “common sense gun control” will leave guns only in the hands of criminals. She wants to spend us into bankruptcy and has no issue with that as long as she can continue to operate her international shakedown racket, the Clinton Family Foundation.

I really believe that Trump wants to do good things, even if he isn’t quite sure what they are. I really believe that Hillary is primarily interested in personal aggrandizement; as long as she stays rich and gets richer she doesn’t give a shit if the country goes to hell. The facts certainly support at least the second half of this assertion.

We may not get the government we deserve, but we sure as hell get the government we tolerate.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Very well said, Bob.

As I’ve said several times before, I’ll be holding my nose and filling a barf bag as I vote for Trump.

Unfortunately Trump has put his mouth in motion before putting his brain in gear so often that even some of his supporters are beginning to have second thoughts. You can’t win a presidential election with your mouth overloading your ass.
