DON’T TRY TO CLEAN A LOADED FIREARM

By Bob Walsh

An unnamed 24-year old denizen of the People’s Republic of San Francisco decided to clean his firearm Wednesday evening in his residence on Serrano drive. He didn’t bother to check to make sure it was unloaded.

The negligent discharge sent a bullet thru the floor of the apartment and into the leg of the 63-year-old resident of the apartment below.

The shooter was cited for the unlawful discharge of a firearm. He is lucky he wasn’t arrested. Many of the jerkoffs in S. F. would be happy to arrest you for mere physical possession of a firearm, legal or not, just on general principles if they had the opportunity.

My GUESS is that the firearm mentioned was a Glock pistol. One of the design characteristics of the Glock is that it cannot be fieldstripped for cleaning or maintenance without cocking it and then pulling the trigger. If there is a round in the chamber they will go BANG if you do that.

EDITOR’S NOTE: We can now assume that the wounded 63-year-old man tore up his NRA membership card if he was a member and that he is now an ardent gun-control freak.
