The judge in charge of the Ghost Ship arson case is apparently seriously considering criminal contempt charges against the three jurors who got ashcanned for inappropriate contact with media people.
The three jurors that were removed, all women, were removed for "demonstrable misconduct" according to the judge.
The situation could get interesting as there is only one remaining alternate juror and at least two jurors have long planned vacations in September. It would be possible to continue with fewer than 12 jurors if both sides consent. It is expected the defense would not do so.
