Trump has slammed 'disgusting and foul-mouthed' ex aide Omarosa who he says was 'despised by everyone' as he reveals he is suing former staffers for 'violating their confidentiality agreements'.

The president fired off a series of tweets on Saturday morning taking aim at a host of former White House staffers. He posted: '...Yes, I am currently suing various people for violating their confidentiality agreements. Disgusting and foul mouthed Omarosa is one. I gave her every break, despite the fact that she was despised by everyone, and she went for some cheap money from a book. Numerous others also!.'

His swipe at Omarosa came after he tweeted about the shock resignation of his personal assistant Madeleine Westerhout. He wrote: 'While Madeleine Westerhout has a fully enforceable confidentiality agreement, she is a very good person and I don't think there would ever be reason to use it. She called me yesterday to apologize, had a bad night. I fully understood and forgave her! I love Tiffany, doing great!'

Reports suggest Westerhout was fired for comments she made about the president thinking his daughter Tiffany was overweight and on his 13-year-old son Barron.

The New York Times reported her 'abrupt and unexpected' resignation came after Trump learned she had 'indiscreetly shared details about his family and the Oval Office operations she was involved in at a recent off-the-record dinner with reporters during the president's working vacation'.

Trump said the fired assistant, Madeleine Westerhout, had called him to say she had been drinking when she spoke to White House correspondents at the dinner.

One of our former presidents was supposed to have said some like this, "I can deal with my enemies, it's my friends who keep me awake at night." The young lady should not have talked, the reporters should not have published off-the-record comments. If it were anybody but Trump in the White House this probably would have not happened.
