A partial list of slang words for drugs to help police and parents keep ahead of the ever-increasing bizarre street names

Here are the street names of the drugs most used by users of illegal drugs in the US:

Cocaine - Big Bird, Cookie, Fish Scales, Mosquitoes, Tutti-Frutti and Rainbow

Ecstasy / MDA / Molly - Blue Superman, Dancing Shoes, Scooby Snacks, Vitamin E and Malcolm X

Fentanyl - Chinese Buffet, Facebook, Tango and Cash, Heineken and Murder 8

Heroin - Avocado, Chocolate Balls, Joy Flakes, Smack and Nice and Easy

Ketamine - Cat Food, Special K, Blind Squid, Honey Oil and Kit Kat

LSD - Bart Simpson, Electric Kool Aid, Looney Tunes, Pink Panthers and Wedding Bells

Marijuana - Mary Jane, Skywalker, Arizona, Bambalachacha and Burritos

Methamphetamine - Biker Coffee, Peanut Butter Crack, Chandelier, Clothing Cleaner and Tupperware

Synthetic Cannabinoids - Voodoo Child, Crystal Skull, Black Mamba, Green Peace and Hammer Head

Steroids - Gym Candy, Weight Gainers, Arnolds, Juice and Stackers

EDITOR’S NOTE: Back in my day the most common street name for heroin was ‘shit’ and it was ‘coke’ for cocaine, ‘meth’ for meth and ‘pot’ for pot. That was when illegal drugs were predominantly used by adults. The new street names appear to have been designed by kids to keep their parents from getting wise to their drug use.
