In 1469 Ferdinand of Aragon married Isabella of Castile, uniting Spain into arguably the major European power of the day.

What would it take to give Puerto Rico back?

I would be happy to just let them walk. Something like 80% of the population live primarily on U S Government assistance. A lot of them want full statehood, which would be another huge money pit.
