On
Monday the Dean of the U C Davis Law School announced that the school
was dissolving the Law Student Association because they are a pack of
anti-Semetic asswipes. The Dean, Ms. Jessica Berg, put it a little
nicer than that.
The
school asserted (correctly) that the group had violated the requirement
that student government organizations must support activities on a
viewpoint-neutral basis.
The National Lawyers Guild is pissed.
The
group prohibits the disbursement of feeds for speakers that are in any
way supportive of Israel, including those from schools in Israel or law
firms that have revoked job offers to law students who have shit-stirred
against Israel or Jews
The Associated Students of U C Davis is also on thin ice with the Unversity due to similar issues.
U
C Davis is currently under investigation by the U S Government for
permitting significant anti-Semitic activity and discrimination on
campus by students, staff and outsiders.
