Texas Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett denied she was talking about Governor Greg Abbott being wheelchair-bound when she called him 'Governor Hot Wheels.'

'I wasn’t thinking about the governor’s condition,' she posted on social media on Tuesday afternoon amid backlash.

'I was thinking about the planes, trains, and automobiles he used to transfer migrants into communities led by Black mayors, deliberately stoking tension and fear among the most vulnerable,' she wrote.

'Literally, the next line I said was that he was a “Hot A** Mess,” referencing his terrible policies,' she continued.

Crockett made the 'Hot Wheels' comment during a speech at a Human Rights Campaign dinner in Los Angeles.

'Ya'll know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there, c'mon now, and the only thing hot about him is that he's a hot a** mess, honey,' she told the audience as they cheered and laughed.

'I am now going off script just so y'all know, this is where things get a little off the rails,' Crockett said before continuing.

But in her social media thread on Tuesday, the Texas Democrat included a link to a report about how Texas has spent $148 million busing immigrants to other parts of the country.

She also wrote: 'At no point did I mention or allude to his condition.'

Abbott was tragically paralyzed after an oak tree fell on him while he was jogging in 1984 at the age of 26.

Crockett's comment received heat from conservatives online who blasted her for going after Abbott, calling her 'trash,' 'the dumbest member of Congress' and low class' on social media.

But Crockett fired back at her online critics in her post.

'I’m even more appalled that the very people who unequivocally support Trump—a man known for racially insensitive nicknames and mocking those with disabilities—are now outraged,' she wrote.

Her response referenced when Trump's mocking a disabled New York Times reporter on the campaign trail back in 2015.

In a second post on Tuesday, Crockett also wrote: 'Keep that same energy for all people, not just your political adversaries.'

'Finally, this is yet another distraction. Instead of obsessing over and hanging on to my every word, maybe my political foes should focus on doing the work of the people who elected us to improve their lives,' she continued.

Crockett continued her speech, mocking her Republican colleague Reps. Lauren Boebert of Colorado and Nancy Mace of South Carolina for mistakenly confronting a woman in the bathroom who they thought was transgender lawmaker Rep. Sarah McBride.

'Anyway, they not even good at being, like, bathroom police, that's the point of the story, like, you can't even do that right, go sit down,' she said as the audience cheered and laughed.

'You campaigned on being bathroom police and f***ed that up,' she added.
