ON STRIKE ... SHUT IT DOWN.

Today about 55,000 LA County members of SEIU walked off the job.  They want more money and better bennies.  How likely they are to GET it remains to be seen, but since public employee unions are very powerful in CA it is not impossible.  Trouble is right now the Golden Goose is almost out of eggs and the willingness of the general public to have their taxes increased is questionable.
