WHY OUR PRISON POPULATION IS DISPROPORTIONATELY BLACK

The future looks bright for more prisons.

The birth rate among unmarried mothers is one of the main reasons we will have to continue building prisons. And the rate among blacks will ensure that blacks will continue to constitute a disproportionate number of prison inmates.

Seventy-two percent of black babies are born to unmarried mothers today, according to government statistics.

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would have some credibility with me if they put half as much effort in trying to solve this problem as they do raising hell blaming ‘white’ racism for all the problems blacks experience in America. These two charlatans and their white liberal admirers have long complained about the disproportionate number of blacks in prison, blaming the large numbers on a racist criminal justice system.

By the way, where are all those absentee black fathers? Deys out in da hood knocking up mo hos. And that’s very good for the future of the prison industry.

Children of unmarried mothers of any race are more likely to perform poorly in school, go to prison, use drugs, be poor as adults, and have their own children out of wedlock.

The black community's 72 percent rate is remarkably higher than that of most other groups: 17 percent of Asians, 29 percent of whites, 53 percent of Hispanics and 66 percent of Native Americans were born to unwed mothers in 2008, the most recent year for which government figures are available. The rate for the overall U.S. population was 41 percent.

Yes, the future sure looks bright for more prisons.
