In today’s Houston Chronicle, the headline for a story about the campaign that ended with last Tuesday’s election read: ELECTION SPENDING RIVALED ‘CASH FOR CLUNKERS’ PLAN.
Come to think of it, that also pretty well describes the election outcome. As usual, we elected a bunch of clunkers to Congress.
