Former U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay has been convicted in a Texas state court on charges of money laundering and conspiracy to commit money laundering in a scheme to illegally funnel corporate money to Texas candidates in 2002. He faces the [unlikely] possibility of life in prison.
You think that’s bad? Wait till you see this:
Former Israeli President (2000-2007) Moshe Katsav was tried on charges of raping a former employee while serving as tourism minister (1996-1999), sexually assaulting two others as president, and obstructing justice. The verdict in the year-long trial will be handed down on December 28.
Former President Moshe Katsav makes former Majority Leader Tom DeLay look like a Boy Scout.
